The following were spectacular, the host Lucia, the view, the cleanliness, the breakfast. I have traveled to Europe 20 times over the last 30 years, and few hosts rival Lucia’s kindness. The breakfast, included a homemade pear cake, homemade focaccia, fresh orange juice, sliced strawberries and bananas, apricots and cherries, and an assortment of beverages. Lucia sent me with cellophane bags of leftovers for my lunch. Such a memory!

This place is amazing! Close to the historical center, great views over the ocean, large and modern room with a great bathroom and the breakfast was incredible - so much delicious food. There was also a place to park, an easy check in and amazing service! We loved our stay at Belvedere and would give more than 10 if we could 😃

Everything was more than perfect.

A 10/10 is not enough to describe our experience: for us, this was better than a 5 star hotel, the ultimate B&B. It was like we met our Italian warm-hearted family, in combination with a very clean and luxurious room, and an amazing breakfast with stunning view.

We loved everything about our stay!! Lucia and family were exceptional hosts and our room was very comfortable. The bed was cozy, the shower with its various settings was nice and the jacuzzi tub was such a treat! And the breakfast.....so delicious and so much care put into the preparation of this meal!!!! Despite having a car, we walked to many beautiful sites and enjoyed the town of Castro thoroughly on foot. We only wish we could have stayed longer!! One of the best accommodations I've had the pleasure to stay in.

This was probably our favourite place to stay in Puglia. Location is superb. The town of Castro was a big surprise, it is beautiful (zero preparation before holiday, I must add). The hosts were caring and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about the breakfast, which was so extensive, that the next thing we ate was dinner! The hearty continental breakfast combined with the sea view is unbeatable.

There was nothing not to like.

Everything was fantastic, from the cleanliness of the room, with 2 hairdryers, shower gel, shampoo cotton wool, coffee machine, fridge, daily cleaning of the room if desired to the most wonderful and generous breakfast. The hosts were so welcoming, friendly and informative. The property was within walking distance of supermarkets and restaurants.
