The staff appeared very distracted during our stay and frequently we were left waiting for staff at the reception . We had a street facing room and it was noisy and no views of the countryside . It was an expensive hotel for the facilities we experienced .

The location of this hotel is perfect for anyone staying in SanGimignano or doing the Via Francigiena walk . The views from the hotel dining room is wonderful

The electricity was not working in my room when I checked in - a minor inconvenience but frustrating since I was only staying one night and had limited time, and I wasted the first 20 minutes trying to figure out what was wrong when I could have been out sight-seeing.

The location is right inside the city walls so super convenient to the public parking lot near the entrance and convenient for walking within the walls to all the sites in San Gimignano.

Be aware of sound proof. Sadly on our last night there were very noisy guests above, late into the night.. TV and heavy footsteps. Began early again in morning at 6.30. Just unlucky I guess. 🫣

We only stayed one night and our toilet broke during the night so until we checked out we had to use the restaurant toilet downstairs. Inconvenient but these things cannot be helped. No compensation (monetary) was offered. Our room was on 2nd floor with a window to the main street and was a little noisy during the night and early morning.

Good central location right near the main entrance to the city. Room was clean and tidy. Staff were lovely.

Obviously the location is fabulous. 2 minutes from the bus stop. The most spectacular view. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. Very comfortable room with everything you need.

Exceptional Tuscan country side view . Mine was a family room hence more spacious , only draw back was less English tv /activity at night. Special mention goes to the gracious lady who served our breakfast , a gem of a person who truly made our Tuscan experience

Garage parking required keys to get and return

Location easy to park and get to property, had to get key and repark below in typical tight European fashion , but great staff , able to check in early due to season and room ready slightly early but was prepared to store bags , excellent breakfast

Main parking place is usually full (no vehicles are allowed in the village) so you might have to walk about 1km of uphill (so leave the luggages there first)

Perfect location, very close to the main piazza and to the village's entrance. If within budget, highly recommend booking a room with a view looking at the valley, absolutely breath-taking!
