Minor point ...I love sitting outside, and I booked here because of the terrace, which I did use a few times for having breakfast or a glass of wine. But it was always closed / locked, so I had to open up myself and close up after myself, which was a bit of a faff. The terrace is a lovely feature, not sure why more people did not use it!

Lovely smaller private hotel in an excellent central location, with a terrace for sitting out in the heat. Very helpful staff, the wife gave excellent recommendations of places to go and eat on my own

Super close to the Duomo and not far from the train station. Friendly staff. Clean and today. Walking distance to great restaurants, tourist attractions, shops and markets.

Location was fabulous: half way between the Duomo and Santa Maria Novella Basilica, and 10 minutes from the Unita tram stop from the airport. Short, interesting 15 minute walk south to the Arno, Ponte Vecchio, and Uffizi Gallery. Couldn't as for much better. The was not large but I never intended my room to be a destination. I was there to experience Florence, not a hotel room. Given that, my expectations and needs were met. A great breakfast was offered but, since I started my days early, I chose to have breakfast at a variety of places close to sites I was visiting. The staff, including Daniela and Guido, were always there, friendly, and helpful.

No lift, but I managed ok

Great location, so I could walk everywhere The owners were very friendly hosts and were prepared to assist me if the train strike on my departure day was to cause me a problem. A spacious, comfortable room. Breakfast was very good. The ambience was nice .

The only downside was the limited breakfast options, but everything else was perfect.

I absolutely loved the hotel staff and owner—they were friendly, helpful, and trustworthy. The room was amazing, and everything from the location to the service was perfect. I’ll definitely stay here again if I visit!

The breakfast could have had a little bit more variety, especially in terms of cheese and meat..we were after all in Tuscany.

The hotel looked so small and not comfortable, but surprisingly enough, it was really really good. For the price I paid for, it’s more than what I expected.

Really lovely accommodations, and my favourite stay on my tour of Italy! Staff was so lovely & welcoming. They gave me a map of the city and recommendations on where to go! Really helped me enjoy my Florence experience so much more!

We couldn't open external blinds preventing opening a window and enjoying the view. The breakfast was poor - didn't enjoy it. The bathroom walls smell not enjoyable.

The hotel is located between two beautiful squares with a partial view of the most significant cathedral in the town. The room is well-renovated. The hotel is known for its spacious (shared) balcony where you can enjoy the street and the cathedral view.

Only one out of the three employees form reception knew English and that made communication a bit difficult at times. (Because they take turns to be at the reception so maybe the only person at reception doesn’t speak English). The other aspect that could improve is to facilitate access to the terrace, there was a red sign that gave the impresion that it was closed and after asking at reception I understood it was open but they kept the door shut and your were not allowed to eat.

The location is perfect, close to the train station (5 minute walk) and to the duomo and other attractions, no need to get a taxi or Uber anywhere. The staff was kind always and allowed us to keep our luggage there after check out time. Nice reception and lounge area. Also the terrace is great with a parcial view of the duomo.

Internet was patchy throughout the day and so many stairs (small amount for Florence about 2.5 flight to our floor) but still something to consider.

Fantastic location easy walking distance to all the mainsites, easy check-in and check out process and it actually has a balcony. Air con functioned well.

Soundproofing was not good. We heard everything that happened on the room next to ours. The hotel owner helped us, talking to the other guests about the noise (it was 11PM almost) but they didn’t try to make less noise. Besides that, everything was good tho

The air conditioning wouldn't turn on because it wasn't the season and it was 80 degrees outside!

The staff were incredible and so helpful when I lost my passport. The room was clean and comfortable.

Room was small and bathroom even smaller. You expect it for a European hotel room in the heart of the city like that but a little more space would’ve been nice. The breakfast wasn’t worth the 10 euro, better off just snagging something local like Rivarno around the corner but only had that one morning just to try. Don’t expect much.

Location couldn’t be better. Right by the fast train station which made it a breeze getting in and out. The location in terms of the city being so walkable was the best part about the stay. Staff was very nice. AC was solid, nothing special but in hotter temps could potentially stay pretty hot in the rooms. We had mild weather mid to high 70s and lows in the 60s so we were comfortable.
