The B&B Villa Mirandola is located up in the Mountains in Brunate, it is very hard to get to it as the roads are very narrow. Hostess complained that we came late as check in was until 6pm (we arrived at around 10pm, but I emailed the hostess thru the app that we will ariive late). Breakfast food was not great

Our room was clean and it had new bathroom that was just renovated. It is great value for the price we paid as other options in the area were a lot more expensive.

First when we enter our room and take a look from balcony we were just like "oh my god..." that was amazing view straight from our bed - Milano straight ahead and forest everywhere near us. The room was pretty nice, I would say that this room was classic italian room - of course it was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and it has great old wooden floor - just fantastic! And I niedziele to write about the owner Paola. She is amazing! She helped us finding places to get some sunbath and she helped us to find the best way to get from Como to Bergamo. She's an Angel :-)

A few things to know, fellow travellers. A minor one - there is no ensuite bathroom, you have to go out through the common corridor. There is the bathroom dedicated just for you (not shared with other guests), but still may be not comfortable for somebody. Second, driving to this location is a challenge. You have to go through narrow, steep, winding streets where two cars hardly pass when meet. May be even bigger problem for manual transmission cars. Doable, but no for back and forth rides. Lastly, you can take a cable car down to the lake but from the cable car stop to the house it is quite a walk uphill, which may be another challenge for not very sportive people.

The room is very large and comfortable. The host is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast excellent and tasty.

All was nice

The room was clean, tidy and cozy . Paula was so kind and the breakfast was complete and diverse . It was beautiful to stay at Mirandola B&B. I will just say that if u are not going by car then maybe is not the perfect option since the distance between the founiculare and the place is around 800 to 1000 mts and the way is quiet difficult , the street is a very steep slope, you will need very comfortable shoes if you decide to make the journey from the station to the house on foot. All the rest was wonderful and the surroundings in Brunate are so nice. You will get an unforgettable view from the room of Mirandola.

We loved it ..But taxis very reluctant to go up to Btunate's difficult terrain ...and definitely not suitable for people with mobility issues .

It's a narrow winding road uphill, taking turns to pass when encountering opposing traffic. Not necessarily a big deal if you can manage it without panicking. I thought it was fun but wouldn't want to do it daily. Everything else is spotless. One last thing, bring cash to pay for the night.

The only thing to be wary of is if you're driving up. The roads are very steep and narrow, but the parking when you got there was perfect! Would recommend taking the Funicular up and down to Como

The house is a bit far from Brunate and, if you don't have a car and are tired, it might seem like the end of the world. But this is not the case, and the hosts will help you in every way.

This is a very pleasant house, located in the middle of Italian nature. The hosts are very hospitable and responsive. In the house you will find the necessary amenities. Nearby are a restaurant and two pizzerias.

The location is great. Its just a short walk from the town of Brunate and a short walk up to the view point that overlooks lake como. Its very quit at night, and Paula makes a great breakfast.

doors don't close tight and it felt a bit difficult to have privacy because every move on the hallway can be heard. driving up the narrow roads to the mansion 800 m above sealevel should be mentioned in the description

Squeaky floor.

Very unique B&B. You have to stay in it to feel the spirit it has. Location and road to the B&B is extreme. Friendly, caring and very good English speaking host. Comfortable bed, clean and tidy room. Basic breakfast, but atmosphere, company and chat with other guests at the table was unforgettable.
