You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwitzerlandIt would be nice to have one brighter light in the living room if you want to read at night.
The location is only 3 minutes on foot from the train/bus station. Even though it is very central, our room was quiet. There is all you need in the room, including a well enough equipped kitchen, so you can cook your own meals if you're so inclined. Fresh bread for breakfast is brought right to your door every morning. The host is very welcoming. Everything was clean and in good working condition. A supermarket is on the way to the station. Various shops can be found right after you step out of the door. Several restaurants nearby. (If you want something basic but good to eat at a good price and maybe a drink to go with it, I recommend Ristorante Caffè Dolzino, just one minute away. Or if you like to try some gin's, ALL RIGHT at the roundabout has a good selection, about 4 minutes on foot.)

AustraliaB&B Ploncher is in the perfect spot to explore historic Chiavenna and surrounds. It is only a short walk to the train station. An excellent breakfast was supplied for each day. The room was very clean and had everything we needed, including a washing machine 😊

MaltaIt doesn’t have a lift and air conditioning but it is not actually needed in that place.
I like the location of the property. It is near to the shops and also walking distance to the train station. The apartment is cozy and very quiet. Owner is also very accommodating.

United KingdomIt was a beautiful little apartment in the car free historic part of Chiavenna. All the basic ingredients for cooking like olive oil, vinegar, salt etc were already there in high quality. All ingredients for the breakfast were there and fresh croissants and a roll delivered each morning. The interior design was beautiful and living in an historic building that is centuries old was a very special experience. The host was warmhearted and friendly.

ItalyGiovanni is the best host I’ve meet so far. Due to circumstances I arrived to the property quite late and Giovanni was absolutely available to do a late check-in and he was very helpful with advising places to see. As well he rented me a bike and was extremely kind to pick me up in the middle of mountains when it got dark - he told that this happens quite often to the guests not familiar with the area and he does it for his tenants from time to time. Extremely recommended!
