Nothing could have been better for us!

Elena was such an amazing host! She accommodated us for an early check in, a beautiful breakfast, and a smooth check out. The price is unbeatable, the rooms very clean with linen and towels smelling like fresh laundry, and very tastefully decorated. The entire house is situated on a nice little farm with animals and gardens. The breakfast was truly unbeatable and was some of the freshest food we had our entire trip. 10/10 would recommend anyone to stay at B&B Giarola!

Just stunning property! So much thought has gone into furnishing the accommodation. Loved everything about it. Welcomed very well and recommended a fabulous restaurant near by. Breakfast was out of this world! So much choice and beautifully presented outside. Lovely welcoming doggies and cat. Highly recommend this property and wished we had stayed longer.

What a wonderful B&B! We spent five excellent nights here - it’s quiet, rural and has a very nice country vibe. Our host, Elena, was delightful. Her breakfasts were outstanding - truly! It is situated “out of town” on a wonderful piece of land with a horse, donkey, chickens and more out back in a large fenced area. There was ample room to park our rental car - a car is necessary here. The bathroom for our room was huge, situated across the private hall from the bedroom. The shower had excellent pressure and more than enough hot water. The bed was comfortable and the room had a nice table and chairs for a dinner we brought back one evening. Did we mention breakfast? Breakfast was a highlight of our stay!

The property has been beautifully decorated. Cozy and very comfortable, with a beautiful garden and countryside view. Everything seems to be made with so much love at Elena’s country house, in a very nice and sustainable way. Elena is a lovely and welcoming person, as well as her husband and the super cute dogs. The breakfast is amazing!

hmmmm, maybe tell new visitors that you have water, beer, wine, soda etc in the fridge for purchase. That is nice to know when you first get there. It's the honor system, they are labeled with prices and you know what you owe when you check out.

Just how I pictured this wonderful B&B out in the country. We were lucky to have a car, but the host said you could get a taxi out here to go into Modena. The air conditioning was great (most places don't have it or only let you set it to about 75 degrees F) the beds were the most comfortable of our entire vacation and the breakfasts were so amazing. You get the entire apartment to utilize the big table inside and kitchen if you need it along with the rooms. We had lots of space and Elena Valentini gave us the code and met us at the gate. She lives in the big family home attached so we always knew we could contact her if we had any problems - which we didn't. We loved our time there and now wish we had stayed longer. She gave us 2 great locations for dinner and one was open during our stay and it was so scrumptious! (Osteria del Tuffetto) So if anyone is going to want to do any foodie/balsamic vinegar tours in Modena and want to stay out of the city, THIS is the place to stay 100% guaranteed!

We would’ve liked to have been able to make some lunch/snacks/food for ourselves. Even though there’s a kitchen space, it’s lacking in basic items to prepare food, such as a cutting board, sharp knife, bowl, trash can. No option to cook anything, only a microwave. Clearly meant to stay and eat out only, but it’s at least a 10 minute drive from the nearest restaurant and we don’t always want to eat out.

Very pretty B&B with lots of attention to detail. Great beds, spacious, well laid out. Delicious breakfast served outside on the terrace.

Internet (wi-fi) was spotty at times. Otherwise no complaints.

The place feels like being in the countryside “in the middle of nowhere”, yet close to everything. There are many restaurants, small towns in the area, as well as bigger cities like Modena and Bologna which is around an hour away. The house is immaculately clean and well decorated . We had a room that felt more like 2 rooms- main bedroom and a separate area with 2 twin beds for the kids. There’s a shared space with a dining room and a kitchen, outside patio and sitting areas. Elena the owner was always there to help with any request, I communicated over Whatsapp.

This place is the most lovely property I’ve ever seen.. every little detail is made with such great love and the owner are such warm-hearted people. The property is surrounded by fields and that gives a very special country flair… the breakfast was excellent and served outside, lovely decorated and All handmade!!

Gorgeous accommodation, perfect for our stopover to Tuscany. What a delightful introduction to Italy. Beautifully appointed accommodation and a hostess who really pays great attention to detail. The breakfast was a feast for the eyes and palate. Highly recommend this B&B
