Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe automated system with no human involved was a bit scary. Never had an experience with this system and as I came from a stressful journey it made me a bit paranoid but everything worked fine.
It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The housekeeper Rossella was really kind. The location was very good just few short minutes walk from the Arena.

SwedenThere were virtual keys to the gate and building door that mostly worked fine but could need a few tries sometimes and there were two different addresses mentioned in emails and Booking app so just double check any emails for your address to avoid any confusion. And even if you go to the wrong one they're close so it's no trouble finding it with Google.
Great location and the room felt very modern and clean, even though the building is of the charming older kind. Cleaning lady (forgot to ask her name!) was very kind, helpful and knows English well. Owner was quick to reply in WhatsApp.

Friendly, clean and centrally based for our short visit to Verona. The best thing was the lovely lady who came into to do the breakfasts and cleaning. She was super friendly and helpful, making sure that we had everything we needed and helping us with getting to the station to pick up our hire car.

SwedenThe shower was a bit dirty and we saw a bird walking around on the counter of the breakfast room when no one was there.
The location was great and the lady who worked there was very nice. We especially enjoyed the coffee station where you could make as much coffee as you liked for free and the fridges where you could store your food. The room was also very clean and comfortable and it had a TV!
