Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A comfortable apartment with a spectacular view of the city center. It was wonderful to sit next to the Juliet balcony and look over the ancient streets, domes of basilicas and sky line. Everything was within walking distance!

( signage on the way up the stairs may also have been helpful to help locate the premises ) ( Had we realised we couldn’t store our bags we would have booked elsewhere €22 to store bags at a baggage storage facility for 7 hours )

United StatesNot a soap/shampoo holder in shower. I cannot think of ONE other thing that we didn't like. Even the elevator that should be in a movie, I grew to love....
Location is PERFECT, we walked everywhere, the shops, ATM, farmacia, restaurants, bars right outside door or 2 minute walk. Very secure and VERY quiet....awesome tiny balcony, but sufficient for 2. Air conditioner that keeps the room cool. Bed comfy, staff came in every day and made up room, clean towels every 3rd(?). . Wine glasses,coffee cups, hot pot, little refrigerator, coffee, hair dryer.GREAT place that won't break the bank

Very nice room, small but adequate and clean. The terrace was very small, but enough for 2 adults to sit facing each other and enjoy the view.

The location is fantastic and the terrace view…incredible! Vincenzo is so great to work with. As a single female, I felt very safe here. The place is very clean and comfortable. Five minute walk to hop on bus stop 6 Vatican and a stone’s throw to Piazza Navona!

New ZealandThe only thing that could of been better would have been the shower. It was quite small and all that was blocking it was a shower curtain which made all the water drip out leaving us with very wet bathmats.
The whole room past my expectations. It was easy to get to, nice atmosphere when you walk in the lobby area. Once we got into our room the view was amazing and exactly what it looked like advertised.

Excellent location and the balcony overlooking the city was an added bonus to enjoy a glass of wine in the evenings, especially when rooftop bars around Rome are so busy and expensive! There was also air con which was a life saver as it reached 40 degrees (c) when we visited! Coffee was provided and topped up throughout our stay, and there was also a fridge in the room which came in very handy for cooling water before heading out to explore the city!
