Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustriaA bit far from public transport means. The very first one is centra station and needs 15 minutes.
New facilities, clean room, basic and necessary needs, enough breakfast products, nice staff, 15 walking minutes to central station and 25 minutes to old town. I want one day to Polignano a Mare and Monopoly, one day to Matera, one day to Lecce, and one day to Alberobello. To Matera and Alberobello there is no train and its only possible by bus. They leave at 7:40 from central station and its much better to buy tickets one day before online or from bar and tabac store just in front of central station. For matera its much better to have a lightweight hiking shoes to go to see Sassi‘s caves.

Great location for access to the train station Quintino Sella connecting with the airport. A bit far from the old town, about 20 min walk. A good supermarket is within 500m from the hotel. Nice food selection for breakfast, the room was spacious, very clean, equipped with new furniture, and quiet. Staff were polite and helpful.

AustraliaMaybe a bit far from the old town, but we walk everywhere so it was not an issue for us. However only about a 10vminute walk to the centre.
The staff were very friendly and professional. The room was very good, breakfast also very good. There is a nice exclusive courtyard to have a coffee or just relax. The whole experience was very nice.

RomaniaTo be fair, there is nothing that i disliked. I hope they keep it this way.
Staff was great, breakfast was complete, nothing was missing and they have a barista who makes the best cappuccinos. Rooms were spacious and clean , there was a balcony and view, the courtyard was an excellent plus where you can spend some quiet evenings and enjoy a drink. Location is good and close to the main train station, buss station is just around the corner. For city tours the hotel is perfect , about 15 to 20 min to the city center and all of the main objectives in Bari. I would also like to add that the hotel is manned 24/7, and security is good. The also serve lunch and the bar is open all the time.

The location is good, not too far from the train station. The hotel also offers hotel shuttle if you not driving. They have a bar and restaurant downstairs which serves good drinks and food. The staff is friendly and always offers assistance. The rooms are quite small, however very comfortable for short or long stay. The breakfast was okay, could have been better.

GermanyWe recently stayed at this hotel in Bari, conveniently located near the main train station, which was ideal for our travel plans. Despite its proximity to an industrial neighborhood, we found the area quiet and unobtrusive, with a charming music school across the street adding a touch of tranquility. Walking to the historical center was manageable, making sightseeing simple without the need for public transport. Our check-in process was smooth, thanks to the 24/7 front desk availability, which was a blessing for our midnight arrival. The room, while not the newest, was impeccably clean and tidy, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. WiFi connectivity was reliable throughout our stay. The hotel’s breakfast offered a lovely local selection, including the appreciated addition of vegetable milk, catering to various dietary needs. The staff deserves a special mention for their unwavering kindness and helpfulness, readily assisting with any extra requests or questions we had. Overall, our experience matched our expectations set by the hotel’s online ratings and images. A solid choice for anyone looking for convenience and friendly service in Bari.

NetherlandsThe hotel was good, I had a single bed, as that was the option I choose. The room and bathroom were clean and were cleaned everyday. Buffet Breakfast was delicious and sufficient. The staff are very friendly, cheerful and helpful. They had a good collection of non-alcoholic drinks, The 'Il Nostro CHINOTTI" was very delicious. The bar/cafetaria had snacks, lunch and dinner. So that worked out for me when I arrived late in night. My stay overall was good. Pls bear in mind the distance, if you are going to walk from Bari Central (takes 10-15 min).

PolandWater for guests in rooms.
Fantastic hotel service. Even though I had to check out at 5 a.m., breakfast was waiting for me. The receptionist prepared me coffee and a layette for the trip. The downside for me was the lack of drinking water in the room. I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the station and the possibility of early check-out.

United KingdomAmazing staff - very helpful, ordered takeaway to the hotel and gave tips about places to go. Great selection for breakfast (cold options only but nice ham, mozzarella cheese, boiled eggs, some fruit and veggies & big selection of Italian pastries & coffee). Good location (about 10 mins from train station). Rooms not the biggest but everything you needed was there. TV with YouTube and Netflix. Bed very comfortable, amazing court yard at the front to sit down and have a drink. Loved it!

United KingdomA kettle to make tea/coffee in the room would be nice - or even to boil water for drinking later. Apart from that, I can't think of anything!
The hotel is located on a quiet side street off the main street which runs alongside the railway lines into Bari Centrale. It is on the opposite side of the station to the main shopping and touristy part of Bari, but that is easily accessed by going through the station. The hotel was scrupulously clean and shiny everywhere with lovely cool marble. My single room was spacious and had a desk and a sofa as well as a bed, and a very large en-suite shower room. Breakfast was a bit chaotic and hot drinks have to be ordered from the bar, but there was a choice of non-dairy milk, and an impressive array of cake. There is a tiny courtyard which has seating and is lit up at night. This hotel feels like a very upmarket youth hostel in some ways - plain, sturdy furniture in the bedroom, and a large school party checking in just before me.

NetherlandsThe hotel's location necessitated a 15-minute walk to reach the central station and approximately 25-30 minutes to reach the city center (by walk), notably St. Nicola's church. Additionally, the surrounding area seemed to attract some unsavory individuals, prompting caution when walking around at night. During my final evening at the hotel's bar, a receptionist approached me out of the blue and inquired if I was Mr. Chen. This encounter felt extremely odd and funny.
The staff at Auditorium Hotel were exceptional, providing great service throughout the stay. The breakfast offered a variety of options including fruits, croissants, cakes, juices, breads, and dry fruits. The cappuccino served was particularly amazing. The room was meticulously cleaned and well-ventilated, with a convenient locker provided. Toiletries were replenished daily, enhancing my comfort during the stay.
