Location was perfect for exploring Alberobello. The breakfast was superb with sweet and savoury offerings. Anna-Maria is a superb host who went over and beyond to make our stay as good as possible. It was a bonus having a garden to relax in.

it was an original Trulia and the owner Anna Maria is the most delightful and friendliest host you will ever meet. Her breakfasts were legendary with the freshest of foods. Her garden with its 300 yr old oak tree 🌳 is so tranquil and the trulia itself is luxurious.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Astra. The location is great and to have the outside space is unique in Alberobello. The Trullo is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The host Anna Maria is one of the kindest most generous people you could wish to meet. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Astra is a truly exceptional B&B. It all begins with the host, Anna Maria. She is a truly lovely person who greets you as if you are a long lost cousin. She contacted me immediately after booking to introduce herself and offer assistance making dining reservations. Upon arrival, she took me on a stroll through the center of Alberobello, pointing out various restaurants and shops of interest and orienting me to the different sectors of the town. The breakfasts are traditional and feature delicious mozzarella, prosciutto, and pastries from a Martina Franca pasticceria. Parking, while not immediately adjacent to Astra, is available a short walk away and it is possible to park short-term in front of Astra to load and unload luggage. The best part is that you are staying in a trulli house that has been in Anna Maria's family for generations. Her pride in the superb condition of the property is evident and well-earned. A stay at Astra is a truly special, exceptional experience and I hope to return.

We had an enchanting stay at Anna Maria's trullo in Italy. The attention to detail in the cozy space was remarkable, and Anna Maria's hospitality made us feel truly at home. A little tricky to find but once there no need to move the car as the location was perfect.

The room is in an ancient Truillo and is very spacious and clean with very good amenities in the heart of the town. Easy walk to the attractions. Free parking nearby. The hostess Anna Marie was very hospitable, friendly and provided an excellent and inclusive breakfast. No request was too small to accommodate. Spent two nights exploring the town and eating at fine restaurants. Took a tour on a golf cart like vehicle with a local guide. Followed the hostess’ recommendations and enjoyed our stay immensely.

The rooms were very clean, modern refurbishment and well decorated. The host was charming, very helpful and kind. The breakfast was fresh and locally sourced. It’s close to the cathedral and a short walk to the trulli’s. It is away from the tourist traps for some peace but can be reached to the heart of the old town in 5-7mins walk. The garden with the old olive trees was special and the history of the Trullo was very nice to learn. It’s a nice find and well decorated.

This was our favorite stay in Italy so far! The host, Anna Maria, became like family. She was the sweetest person and took time to show us the grounds, explain to us the city, make a scrumptious authentic breakfast. You rarely find a host like this. She is the sweetest. The Trulli was such a remarkable place to sleep in for two nights- very historical. This one in particular was beautifully decorated by the host, comfortable bed, AC, stunning bathroom. It also had a secret garden feeling outside! Was BEAUTIFUL

Wonderful stay in a beautiful city, with the warmest welcome ever. Anywhere, in any circumstance, passion and grace are always great assets. And when it comes to passion and grace, B&B Astra and Anna Maria are truly exceptional. We rarely give 10s, but this place deserves them! We recommend it incredibly highly.
