I suppose it could be cheaper, but to be honest I was happy with quality of service. Also you need to remember that the reception desk is not open at night.

Great location, right next to Roma Termini train station, my single bed room wasn't big, but it was clean, bed and pillow were comfortable, staff was helpful. Hotel even provides free hot drinks like tea or coffee from a vending machine in the lobby.

The room was very clean and it was a good size for a one night stay. The bathroom was very clean and quite big. We booked this hotel as it had luggage storage which we needed as we were not leaving until late in the afternoon. The staff were exceptional and could not have been more helpful. Very close to train station. Would stay again if in Rome.

Despite the clean appearance of the room, the floor was a bit dusty. Nothing that bothered us too much, although it is important to note that.

I came to Rome with no expectations at all in light of my friends' past experiences. I chose the ASTORIA GOLDEN GATE because of its proximity to the Termini train station and to be honest I arrived with no expectations. When we entered the hotel, we were greeted by the charming Rudolfo, thanks to whom we already started our experience in Rome with a smile. Rudolfo was kind, professional and answered all our questions and without a doubt we felt at home. We informed Rudolfo in advance that we would arrive earlier than expected in relation to the check-in time and he and the staff went out of their way to prepare the room for us earlier so that we could arrive and settle in comfortably. It was really unexpected and we appreciate it very much! The room is large and spacious and tastefully decorated. The room had a minibar, a coffee station, a closet, a bidet in the bathroom and a TV. Undoubtedly - a surprise! It was fun to see such a well-equipped room. In the evening and the next morning we met Christian, another receptionist who was very nice and kind and it is important for us to mention this to the good. When we left there was a young man whose name I didn't ask, who was also very nice! I really liked the concept of the hotel where there is the card of the room that opens the entrance gate and the door gate. There was a coffee machine at guests' disposal for free, which is a very nice and not obvious thing. The hotel's proximity to the Termini train station was just perfect! It was convenient for us in every way to get around Rome easily. Without a doubt this is the hotel I will return to when I visit Rome again!

Perfect location right next to termini. Convenient to walk to termini and take buses or trains just about anywhere in the city. Wouldn’t do much around the hotel, but perfect for exploring other places. Room was comfortable, free coffee and hot drinks, gate and room access with RFID key was very convenient.

I was flying out of Rome airport on an early flight and needed to stay 1 night in Rome after a trip in Southern Italy I wanted to be within an easy walk from Roma Termini. This hotel was absolutely perfect. The room was small but perfectly comfortable, with a refrigerator and good sized bathroom. It is a very short, flat walk to the train station, which made it so easy to catch a 5:50am Leonardo Express train to the airport. There are plenty of places to eat and supermarkets nearby, as well as the Termini Metro station. It was steamy and hot in Rome when I arrived, and the very effective air conditioner in the room got me comfortable in minutes. Property feels very secure, but I was still able to leave in the early hours without a problem.

Our room is at street level so it's just a bit noisy during the day with the metal gate noise being slammed by guests. We recommend reserving a higher floor room.
