Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandThe hotel standard does not correspond to the 4*. Rooms, especially bathrooms requires some renovation, The smoke detector blinking light was pointed directly into bed and electric safety switches are noisy at night. When I was in the hotel the bar was closed - It was impossible to have espresso or drink out of the breakfast hours <there is wending machine next to the lift on the staircase, but again in 4* there should be a bar with coffee machine available>. I was not really satisfy with the breakfasts - those were okay but again in 4* we expect something more than just few options and coffee. Summary: If hotel was advertised as 3* or 2* I would be supper happy, as 4* - sorry it is not getting even close to what you should get in 4*. After all in Rome we had to pay tax based on the hotel stars rating
Good location, good windows curtains, the staff was friendly, room was clean, however this is exactly what you expect in 4*

United KingdomIt says it’s a four star hotel it’s a two at best like an ibis budget hotel. It is out of of town but I was booked in for a conference held in the hotel. So it’s not central Rome the tube is about 20 mins away and some of the route is a little Inner city urban that might worry some travellers but I found it safe just overgrown and dirty. I think some of the reviews are unfair it’s a good hotel and it is what it is if you get the the metro travel cards you can be in Rome cheaply and see the sights and experience the suburbs. There were a couple of pizza places ten minutes walk away but it’s not a place to eat out nearby.
The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly it is close to campino Airport about 20 mins by cab. It is in a residential neighbourhood of St Bosco. It is a 20 minute walk to the green line metro Alessandro and you can connect to the orange line from it with one change so you are in the centre of Rome in say 30 to 40 mins . The rooms are basic but comfortable drinks are accessed by a down load app on your smart phone which connects to the vending machine in the hotel foyer. The restaurant for breakfast is a cafeteria style continental breakfast and scrambled eggs sausage and bacon It’s similar to say an Ibis budget hotel. No frills but has all you need .

DenmarkThe room has a very “formal” vibe to it and the bathroom needs a thorough cleaning and a bit of care. Even it’s a buffet type of breakfast there’s not a lot of options. For those with a sweet tooth tho it’s a different story. The Wi-Fi connection is not very stable and the phone kept disconnecting or otherwise taking a long time to surf the web.
The staff is helpful and always ready to help you. The custard croissants were extremely good at breakfast.

BelgiumWifi is very poor in this hotel, as was the case to be fair in most of the places where we stayed in Italy. This, combined at times with a usually weak 4G signal in most italian cities, even in Rome, makes for a very erratic internet experience as a whole for travellers and non-residents (GPS at great pains many times). A shame for such a developped country and otherwise so nice a place to visit. And in the case of a 4-star rated hotel as this one, it's even less forgiveable not to endow its clients with a better internet service, just to compensate for the weak overall performance of the national government-funded service. Overall, a 4-star rating seems to me a bit optimistic for this hotel; I'd rather give it a 3. Upon arrival late in the evening, we had the impression that the cleaning staff had done a rather botched job at preparing our room; Toilet seat and bathtub were not as clean as they should have been, there was no soap and no toilet paper available, and a few towels seemed to be missing. Floor wasn't dirty but didn't give the feeling of being super-clean either, and a thin layer of dust was visible on some parts of the furniture (but beds, at least, had clean linen). All these "flaws" were corrected asap when the cleaning staff was notified the next morning. They did a good job at keeping our room clean and supplied during the rest of our stay. Overall, good but could be improved rather easily.
The hotel is located in a very quiet and very safe area in one of the recently developped residential suburb of "The" mother of all cities. Safe parking for our car, no noise to be heard from the outside, and virtually silent corridors at night made for a very relaxed stay. Hence the undisturbed well-deserved rest we were able to enjoy after our endless daytime walks. At the same time, the hotel is not far from the city centre (+/- 4 miles/7km) and is well connected to the main metropolitan road network half a mile away. Some public transportation exist nearby as well, but we didn't feel the need to use them at all, as driving to and from the city centre was quick and easy, and surprisingly much less hectic than I remembered from my last stay in Rome some 30 years ago. Breakfast in the hotel is not extraordinary but correct and plentiful, Beds are comfortable and in good condition. The hotel is equipped with basic, modern and practical furniture, in good condition and properly maintained overall, and is of a relatively modern construction as are the middle-class residential appartment blocks in the neighbourhood (of wide and quiet avenues); There's even a well supplied convenience store just around the corner, open 7/7. Hotel staff is cool and available, if not the friendliest we've met.
