The mattress(es) had a separation down the middle which was fine as a single, but could be a problem if two people were sleeping in it. Personally I would have liked another pillow option as the ones provided were too hard for me (I didn't ask for one, so that's on me). The property is located at the top of a steep hill - I believe it was the trail head for the hike from Riomaggiore to Manarola - a shuttle ran every hour, and climbing stairs was required to reach my room. Anyone with mobility issues would have difficulty.

My room was large and clean with coffee, snacks and a small fridge provided. I could hear the small stream flowing outside my windows when they were open. The bathroom was also large with a hair dryer and radiant-type heater. Francesca and her husband were wonderful! Friendly, helpful, and kind. They gave lots of suggestions for where to eat, shop, and how to move around in Cinque Terre.

Amazing stay in Riomaggiore. Perfectly clean room with very comfortable beds, amazing location just outside the city center (only a 5 minute walk to the center), possibility to park car, wonderful and very kind hosts and on top of that the room also comes with very tasty coffee. You will feel like at home, maybe even better. Francesca and her husband are great hosts, perhaps the best. Rooms are comfortable, everything you need is there, and even much more. Location is perfect, center of Riomaggiore is justa a few steps away, but on the other hand, location is quiet and in the morning you hear the birds sing. Francesa will take time to explain everything to their guests, there is also info center just around the corner, stay as long as you can, Riomaggiore and Cinque Terre have so much to offer.

The Hotel was located a bit outside downtown Riomaggiore - which was amazing. A nice quiet place outside of the sometimes overwhelming amount of tourists. The host was so kind and helped us greatly and gave us extra info about the area, good spots and wineyard locations. The hotel is located with mountains on each side making a beautiful view from the room and the terrace, very very quiet in the evenings. A wonderful small hotel, with great personality. I would definitely recommended it. If I/we are going there again - I would definitely try to see if they have room. Best Jonas and Louise

If you are looking for a place to stay in Cinque Terre, you should look no further! Riomaggiore is the best city in my opinion and the hotel was located just 500 meters from the city center. The rooms ware extremely comfy and with lots of space (more space than normal compared to the other rooms I saw in Riomaggiore). There are outdoor spaces and the host is amazing! She and her husband were so helpful with everything, showing us all we needed to know to have a great time im Riomaggiore! The rooms were super clean and the service is excellet. On the afternoon you could stay and watch the sunset outside, in fresh air, on the patio. A major bonus: the parking space is available on site! 10/10. Thank you again for making our stay perfect!

It was perfectly placed as it was away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip. It also had secure parking. The staff were extremely welcoming and kind. The room was clean and exactly what we needed. They even included a continental breakfast package (with fridge items) and access to the coffee machine all free of charge.

The room was super clean, and we were offered a free minibar + items for breakfast. Francesca and her family is really kind and professional, and you really feel welcome here! The attention to detail like a really good coffee maschine, fully working aircondition that cools down the room in 2 minutes and a lovely view from our room made this a perfect stay. We used the beautiful terrace outside the reception :) Big plus for having a minibar, so you can keep the water cold (there is a water fountain in the town for drinking water). As many has mentioned it is located at the top of the village, but for us this was no problem even in the heat. Theres an elevator next to the train station that you can take up to the most beautiful view + there are few tourists here. There were about 100 tourists watching the sunset from the shore, but we were up there alone enjoying pizza on a bench with the most beautiful ocean view. From there you can take the next elevator (next to the church) up close to the hotel - therefore you dont have to walk up the steep hill everytime if you get tired. We thought the location was perfect because it is more quiet and relaxed without so much tourists, it felt local. Overall this was such an amazing experience, Francesca is one of a kind, the room was spacious and super clean + the location was in the middle of it all but still felt quiet. Thank you so much for making our trip to Riomaggoire the best!

Our second stay and enjoyed it as much as the first! Our unit was located at the entrance to the village which was quiet, easy access walking. Francesca, her husband and Valentina were wonderful! Made our stay comfortable. She has parking.

Our room was very clean and bed very comfortable. The room was tidied every day and the breakfast snacks and drinks were also replenished. we loved having a small terrace with table and chairs for our use. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, and we would definitely stay again.
