I loved the proximity to the sea. You could feel the breeze and the soothing sea air. At night it was so quiet you could hear the waves...and you could smell the surrounding night gardens. The apartment was well kept, clean and had all I needed. I stayed 10 days and half way through my stay it was cleaned and all linen changed with an avalanche of clean towels. Loved the place and felt homely.

Not enough pillows. Only two on the queen's bed. Also, the beds are just a tad hard though they conform to Italy's standards, I think.

This was a great find as it's a comfortable apartment-style residence with beautiful views of the sea and across the street from one of the few non-rocky beaches in Piombino. Ours was a balcony seafront view and the upcharge was worth it for the huge terrace and expansive view of the beach. This place is great for a long term stay or family vacation. There are two highly-rated restaurants within steps, one inside the complex called Vespero (highly recommended) and one just steps away at the marina called Cambusa (also highly recommended). Both are excellent and priced well for the quality. There's also a more informal family-style restaurant and pizzeria by the beach which is also decent and more informal. The apartment is equipped with a small kitchen and even a combination washer drier fro clothes, ironing board, etc. It's perfect for a longer stay. The marina has a grocery story for necessities and the Coop(supermarket) is a short drive or bus ride away. The historical center of Piombino is accessible by bus which stops very close to the hotel, just across the street. The mystery is how to take the bus back to the stop since the road was closed. There must be a bus that comes back because the busses all have circular routes, but we could not figure it out even after trying several. In any case, the bus coming back from Piombino stops a 5 minute walk away so it's not so bad and of course there are taxis or, you can use your car if you have one.

- lack of flexibility on check-in time, late check-in not possible - many studios don't have as nice views as shown in the pictures - very average internet connection in our studio, also required re-authentication in a portal multiple times - the closest sandy beach (Salivoli) did not look tempting

- location good for visiting Piombino - nice peninsula nearby with great views for a walk, coast paths in walking distance - very clean apartment and comfy bed - underground car parking

Hot water seem to run out half way through second person’s shower. Stayed for 5 nights and would have preferred change of towels after couple of nights.

My only minor issue would be the unusual check-in times (only from 16 till 18), we had a long way to travel and were a bit stressed out about arriving on time.

Great location, very peaceful and still very close to local beaches, many more are easily accessible with car. Staff was very friendly, gave us throughout instructions and lots of info about local attractions. Kitchen was well equipped with some basic utensils, enough to prepare simple meals. The facility isn't the most modern, nonetheless it was very enjoyable. Air conditioning was very useful to have, as well as the free! underground parking. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Uncomfortable check-in (16-18:00), perfect checkout (all time).

Clean and tiny apartment with parking. Helpful and friendly staff. All what we need are in this apartment (hairdryer,iron,washing machine with drying function, coffee machine, towels, shampoo and other). Close to beaches (3 min or to Calamoresca 10 min on foot). There are lift to beach, small pool, restaurant Vaporesco with splendid view. Nearby is a supermarket, café, bar, restaurants, bus stop.

Location was excellent, very close to a little beach just after the marina which was excellent for swimming, close to the Coop, Calamaresca beach and within walking distance of the town. We particularly liked the well equipped air conditioned apartment with balcony and the tranquility of the surroundings. Also the nature walks on the promentory by the sea and in the woods were very enjoyable. The staff on reception were extremely attentive and helpful. All of the local restaurants are very reasonably priced. Finally the underground car park was welcome in hot temperatures.

We were surprised by the very weak and insufficient lighting in the rooms. It was very annoying in the kitchen and also on the terrace. we appreciated the coffee machine, but there was no capsule. And one tablet for the dishwasher is also so economical.

I cannot think of anything.

The appartment is spacious, modern, spotlessly clean and has everything that one needs including washing machine and dishwasher. The location is perfect for the nature reserve hiking trails and in my opinion, the 2 km walk into town for fantastic food at night was perfect (along the coast). The staff are very friendly and professional. The underground on site parking is also a big plus. The little beach and its friendly bar is also super. There is a large shopping centre (Coop) just a short walk or drive away (500m). If you get a chance, eat at Mama Carla’s in town :-) There is also a restaurant on site that we did not have time to try, but it also looked nice(a little quiet as it was still May and very early in the season).

I would suggest a couple of shelves in the bathroom, but we just placed our things on top of the washing machine which was fine. The bathroom itself was a good size and there was nothing wrong with anything.

We absolutely loved this place. The huge terrace with views of the marina, the peace and tranquillity, the lovely friendly staff, the underground parking, the very clean and modern interior, the location for visiting other places, all better than expected. The apartment was a very comfortable size (even with the sofa bed open) for a family of four with one small dog. We had everything we needed, very well equipped. We used the a/c in heat mode a little but after the first day we didn't really need it. Our 4-night trip was perfect in every way, we love the area, we would like to come back. I highly recommend a walk around Punta Falcone.
