Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomIf you have a room with town view, it's a bit noisy because of trains that are passing write under your balcony. I've solved it with year plugs.
Breakfast was amazing. A lot of choice. Including cakes fruits etc. Good location, also pool was amazing as well, with different depths for kids. Good terrace for chill out.

LithuaniaThe shower was with sand, maybe forgot to clean. Hotel is by train rails. So 24/7 trains are going and it’s hard to sleep because sound is very loud even with all windows closed. So if you are not heavy sleeper maybe choose other hotel or ask room in other side. Also bed was with two mattresses and they where moving
Nice pool, had balcony. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Location is a little bit far from ferry wheel but it’s near Main Street so a lot of grocery stores ant restaurants. Beach also not far away. Again, amazing pool!

HungaryThe train runs behind the hotel, but it is not disturbing when the window is closed. It's not necessarily the hotel's fault: 2 dogs stayed in the next room and they barked a lot, even at night, it was quite disturbing.
The staff is very nice and friendly. The breakfast is fantastically delicious, the selection is exceptionally large. Both the hotel and the room are very clean. The temperature of the pool was pleasant, there are many sunbeds and umbrellas on the shore. There are many shops, bus stops and the beach nearby.

NetherlandsThe location of the hotel is perfect. It is near the beach shops and restaurants. The hotel is also not far away from the bus station. The people at the reception were friendly. The room was clean, but did not have a small fridge. The staff at breakfast was not friendly. They were very uninterested in their guests and were eating behind the buffet, not very professional.

United KingdomThe staff was super nice, made the whole experience very pleasant. The receptionist Olga was super organised and made check-in/out super quick. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of great choices. I personally preferred the croissants over the eggs&bacon. We were also very lucky to find a parking space opposite the entrance and didn't pay extra for it. The room was very clean, bed sheets too. Location? Perfect! Highly recommended!!!

GermanyThe breakfast was large, but many of the items were often no longer warm. For example, there was always cold bacon and scrambled eggs. Some things were not even refilled when they were empty. The furnishings of the rooms were not particularly luxurious, but for the price completely fine.
The location was perfect, right on the beach. The balcony was nice and there was seating. The hotel has a great outdoor area with pool. The staff was very polite and helpful. When we had problems with our car they helped us contact the Italian police and even made an appointment for us.
