Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

A comfortable hostel designed with every detail in mind. The location is very good. This hostel is not a cheap hostel for 1 day, it is a huge facility that is designed with every detail in mind and that you should stay at least for 1 week. I have been traveling around Italy for 1 week. The best hostel in terms of price and performance. This facility has been designed with every detail in mind from beginning to end, with its architectural drawing and interior design. The room we stayed in was a shared room for 9 people. The bunk beds are very solid. They do not creak. There are 2 showers and 1 toilet. The sound insulation and room temperature are very good. Every furniture, door, faucet is very solid and high quality. If it is not check-in time, there are lockers at the entrance of the hotel where you can lock your bags with your own lock. There is an ATM inside. There are vending machines where you can buy drinks and food. There is a small restaurant where you can buy pizza-style foods. You can also have a 7-8 € open buffet breakfast. It makes sense to have breakfast at a hotel in an expensive place like Venice. Various music activities are organized at certain hours in the evenings. It is a frequent destination for many backpackers. You can meet and talk to new people. The location is very close to the train station. It is a place where I wish I could stay for 1 week instead of 1 day. Finally, instead of paying 3-5 times more for a hotel in Venice, you can stay at your hotel for a reasonable price with a very cheap train ticket and travel around Venice and its surroundings.
