Beautiful and convenient location right by the train station and town center of Corniglia. The room had everything I needed and was very comfortable.

There was unfortunately some construction going on right below the property, but this only started to be noisy at 9am, so we typically weren't bothered as we were out and about for most of the time it was going on. Also, not this property's fault! Be aware that Corniglia has several steps up from the train station if you are traveling this way. We actually preferred the higher views and relative quiet of this town though!!

Incredibly friendly couple who greeted us with a warm welcome the moment we arrived, even insisting on carrying my bag to the room from the parking spot (plenty of room even for our larger rental car which was a relief after the windy, narrow roads to get to Corniglia - not for the faint of heart!). The Stone Room was absolutely adorable with all of its themed details, from the stone clock on the wall to the headboard on the bed. The balcony had an incredible sea view and even a sun shade that was retractable. Cutest breakfast nook setup with everything we needed (even a mini toaster oven and fridge) with welcome local wine - so appreciated! Since this property meets eco standards, we also received a discount code for day tickets to Cinque Terre - such a good deal! You can tell they put so much time into all of the details here, and were quick to respond and accommodate any needs via WhatsApp. Easily our favorite stay in all of Italy!

All was fantastic - the property is a bit of a hike from the train station, or you have to wait for the bus which can be crowded

Location was fantastic, right at the top of the steps from the train station. The room was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated with everything you need. Stunning views of the coast. Cinzia and her family are warm and kind hosts who even picked us up from the station.

Our only wish was black out blinds on all windows. There were two that didn't have them. We slept great but for those very sensitive to light this might be a thing.

Great stay and great hosts! We had the room with the large terrace and it was such nice respite in between activities. I know there are probably views tat do not include the train tracks, but we needed up happy we didn't book on that side of town. This stay was RIGHT by the stairs that go to the train platform and it was on the trail to walk between cities. So for us it was a better location. We like the quiet of Corniglia and it has really cute bars and restaurants and a great ocean access point for swimming with way less crowds. The windows block all the outside noise too. Air conditioner is cold, water is hot, linens are soft, bed is comfortably firm, snacks and coffee/tea are provided. Hosts were super friendly and VERY responsive. AND...there is parking.

Great location. So close to the centre of town and easy access to the stairs to the station. Also close to the shuttle stop. When we arrived, host even picked us up from the station, with a car which was so helpful! Lovely pastries and food on arrival, complimentary bottle of wine with lots of snacks which was topped up every day.

We loved EVERYTHING about the experience, from the apartment, to the service, to the location, to the transportation, to the food, to the activities. Nothing at all to dislike.

We loved staying at Amare Il Mare, and experiencing Corniglia and Cinque Terra. The owner and manager, Cinzia, greeted us at our car when we arrived, and she and her colleague helped us carry our bags to the apartment. So kind and gracious. Cinzia prepared a useful and comprehensive book of information that she leaves in the room (including information about the room, the town, activities places to eat, transportation, laundry, and more), and shares that "I put my heart and soul into realizing this project" and we can verify that that is a true statement. Cinzia took such good care of us, with all of the food, snacks, drinks, and Netflix to make our stay enjoyable. The apartment was incredibly clean, and Cinzia cleaned and restocked our apartment so nicely every day. The room (we stayed in the "Stone Room") was very well designed, and she uses every square inch to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. The best was very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed returning to our beautiful apartment and view every day. Corniglia is much quieter and less congested than the other towns. Corniglia is perfectly situated in Cinque Terra, equidistant from the other 4 Cinque Terra towns. You can even walk to neighboring towns in a few hours, along the coast. At Cinzia's recommendation, we purchased the daily Cinque Terra Card (for 2 days in our case), which allowed us to travel all day between towns, which only takes about 5 minutes by train. Visiting the other towns in Cinque Terra was amazing, with each town having its own geography and personality. We also spent much time in our beautiful room, enjoying the view of the hills and sea. We are from Hawaii, and understand natural beauty, and our stay at Amare Il Mare is at the top of our list. We definitely hope to be back as soon as we can. What a gem! A gorgeous apartment with the most incredible view in the beautiful village of Corniglia! Cinzia is a great host…water, wine and pastries were in the room on our arrival. We arrived by car…a bit scary as the road to the village is very narrow! Cinzia had parking organised for us! We will return!

The room was small, but it was perfect for our needs. All we needed was a home base to explore Corniglia and Cinque Terre; if we wanted a larger hotel room, we could have booked one :)

We absolutely loved our stay here. Cynzia and Robert were SO helpful and so communicative. They went above and beyond in absolutely every single way they could think of, and we were so pleasantly surprised with how thought-out our accommodations were. Everything from food waiting in our room, to toothbrush/shaving kits, to a complementary bottle of wine. And the view from our balcony was spectacular. We can't wait to come back.

The best view from all of Corniglia from the private, massive veranda!! Cinzia thought of everything, from the welcome wine and scones, to the snacks & coffee in the fantastic kitchen, to laundry service, restaurant recommendations, ticket links, etc etc. She was an incredible host!

- Mattress was too soft, which is not great for your back with or without a full day of hiking. - This point is more related to the village: even if it is possible to park near the apartment, it is really not convenient to come by car to Corniglia. I strongly recommend to come by train.

- Warm welcome from Cinzia who was waiting for us and helping us parking the car - Nice decoration in the wine room, full of creativity with a lot of details. - Perfect location, a few steps from the village and not much further to the train station.

Cinzia had placed water, a local wine, and snacks in our room. It was SO welcoming. They had everything there ready for us and so helpful with answering our questions. We loved it and will definitely visit again one day.

Location is great, and the room with very small balcony view of Manarola and Sea are special. Breakfast is self serve in the room. Appreciate the complimentary bottle of wine and water. Traveling by car, and having access to parking was key. Located a short distance to the trail entrance to Volastra-Manarola.
