on arrival, it was cold outside and in the room (no heating operationable, about less than 15°), next morning we were offered an electrical radiotor (which made it accepatable), the day after the central heating was turned on (comfortable, but without regulation, since not temperatur controlled thermostats) minor: the instant coffee for the coffee maker was only available on the first day and not replaced, used cups were taken but not replaced

good communication and guidance for check-in, proper and spacious room, well equipped, bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet, TV with some German channels, breakfast with good selection of cerals, marmalades, cakes, coffee, overall mainly on the sweet side, two small Italian panini per person, very friendly and caring personal, easy to reach from the next vaporetto station OSPIDALE

The room was comfortable, everything worked, it was very clean and Fausto, the manager was very helpfu. The hotel is in a nice quiet location, near a vaporetta stop (Opitale) and two minutes from a small co-op store. There are several nice restaurants close by, it takes 15 minutes to walk to St Marks Square and is a 43 min boat ride from Marco Polo airport. .

Easy to get too off the water bus, the daily breakfast was a lovely way to start the day. The owners were super lovely and let us leave our bags there until our train which was at mid day

Ideal for a stay in Venice - very friendly owners and accommodation very clean and also quiet but only 5 mins from much busier areas. Just a very short walk from Ospedale when you arrive too which is 3 stops from airport and the property is very easy to find.

Comfortable beds, clean, friendly, perfect location

The main bed was a little soft for me (it's a good memory foam mattress). However, there was a harder single bed in the room too, and the owners happily made this up for me, so I had a comfortable stay - just noting for info for people like me who need a harder bed.

We've stayed here before a few years back and really liked it. It's a B&B style hotel with decent sized comfortable rooms. Rooms have a fridge and a safe. The breakfast is more than adequate for a morning of walking around the most beautiful city in the world. People running it are lovely. It's a great area to stay. It's up in the north of Castello, easy to reach and find from the airport Alilaguna, and a nice base for exploring the quieter areas of Castello near San Francisco Della Vigna.Turn the other way and you're right on top of Zanipolo and then over the bridge towards the Miracoli. Some great bars and restaurants nearby too. Great value for money.

Hair dryer is bit weak. Door in bathroom is broken. Showerroom is small. But still I'd like to stay here again.

There are kettle and tea,cups,body soap,normal soap. I'm satisfied with breakfast. Very good location. Outlets are each sides of beds. Clean,friendly staff,good location. More than price.

The only downside was that we left the window open one evening and were visited by a host of mosquitoes. We should have plugged in the repellent though, so our own fault.

Perfect location as was a short walk to all the sights. Great supermarket at the end of the lane (Lagoon end) to pick up any essentials. Close to many good restaurants too. The host was so friendly and seemed to be fluent in every guest’s own language.

The location was quite good, just a couple of blocks from the vaporetto that takes you to the airport and the train station, and 15 minutes walking from San Marco. The staff was great and the breakfast, delicious! Our room was extra spacious, clean and tidy. We loved it and I'm sure we will be back!

If you want to stay in Venice during your trip and you're on a budget, Alloggi Barbaria is definitely an option to consider. It's pretty close to Fondamente Nove station and not in a crowded area. The bright sign above the door is visible as soon as you enter the street. The minibar prices were affordable.

Spotless and great location, nice breakfast with a large selection of rolls, jam, butter, cheese spread plus croissants and lots of cakes and cereal bars.

15 min walking to the San Marks square. Vaporetto to the airport is nearby. The host was super friendly, check us in earlier and find a place for our baggage after check out. They provide breakfast for all customers. The room cleaning is daily. Soap, shampoo, towels are there.
