A *little* hard to find with GPS but once I did-- perfection!

I booked last miniute-- as I drove into town-- after a not great Airbnb experience, ad the staff was AMAZING and helpful and saved the whole day for me. The service was EXCEPTIONAL!

Car was taken to a remote parking spot by owner. Difficult to park at the hotel to unload luggage. Not a serious problem though. A little difficult to find although it is on a main street.

A comfortable small hotel managed by the longtime owner. Nice restaurant for breakfast or dinner. Room was adequate and comfortable.

There was a party in town and was very noisy. But this had nothing to do with the hotel!! The facility was lovely and the staff very accommodating

I can’t really think of anything.

The location, the comfortable bed, the quality of the sheets, the pillows and pretty much everything. The staff are super nice and really take care of you. I love the fact that they had a restaurant below with an amazing wine list, and the views are to die for. Breakfast was full of lots of cakes and other alternatives. A family owned property and relaxing environment.

It can be difficult driving around Montalcino! Best to bring the car to the hotel and let them park it.

The location of the hotel can't be beat, and the views from the outward facing rooms are amazing. The breakfast was generous and delicious, with a huge selection of cakes. Overall it's a lovely little spot with an elegant but homey vibe.

The staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to help us in many ways, including valet parking, locating tickets to local festival events, and introducing us to local residents that also made our stay wonderful.

The property is a delightful reflection of this beautiful town of Montalcino! The location is excellent and all of the furnishings and amenities were perfect. Staff was most accommodating and facility has everything needed. Valet parking offered within this zone restricted location - that deserves a 10 right there!!! My only regret was staying for one night.

Central town moments away from the enoteca, shops and restaurants. Valet parking. Fantastic views from the bedroom. harming family style albergo.. Excellent aircon that worked well even on the hottest days. Help to room with luggage.

Nothing it was lovely.

We had an unplanned stay in Montalcino as our hire car broke down nearby one Sunday and we were unable to arrange recovery.until the following day. We were rescued by a Montalcinan vineyard owner who kindly drove us to Il Giglio. We were quite stressed but the hotel was lovely and comfortable, the view amazing and the town very beautiful. Lovely as the town and hotel are, what was even more impressive were the efforts of Michele and his Mum (from the hote)l in translating phone calls, helping us to arrange recovery of our car and driving us out to meet the recovery vehicle. They could not have been more helpful. We arrived in Montalcino during a festival and had a fabulous stay. It ended up being one of the highlights of our Tuscan holiday. The town itself is stunningly beautiful but we were so much more impressed by the kindness of its residents. A truly lovely experience. I can't recommend the town, the people we met or the hotel highly enough
