For us the rooms were too dark (cave-like). The cheap paper cups should be changed to glass. The wifi registration is by giving your email address or phone number (not protected).

The hot water in the toilet was not really hot. It was just warm and not the best for a relaxing shower.

Amazing view, nice rooms, delicious breakfast. Host Francesca was super nice and helpful. I suggest to take Palazzo Massaini wine and olive oil degustation also. It is a good experience.

The room smelled a bit "old" but that's understandable in the building of its age. The room was also a little bit cold (trip in late October), colder than outside actually

The Palazzo is a group of separate Agroturismos, but all are looking amazing. The main Palazzo with the reception and wine tasting is amazing, and the Agroturismos that we stayed in (2 minutes away by car) was very charming and exactly like on pictures. Breakfast was delicious, served by wonderfully pleasant staff, who was very helpful and kind

Wish we’ve had stayed longer!

Simply wow - the are itself is huge, with 3 different buildings. The main one looks like a castle and is stunning - if You go down a bit the main road, You will find an ‘insta-worthy’ spot to take a pic of it! So my advice - book this place and see it up close! The host was very friendly, gave us a glass of locally produced vine! As they produce if themselves, You can buy it at the store and have it shipped to Your home! I should mention that we lived in a building further to the main castle, but we liked it a lot! As it didn’t have the pool before, the owners even built one, for the guests’ convevience! The place itself was very well maintained, yet rustic. I lived the breakfast - it was so cosy and nice, the selection if local food was great. All in all this place provides an amazing overall experience. Go there and You will not want to leave!

It was amazingly beautiful and relaxing. Close to Pienza, but with the benefits of being in the quiet countryside. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet each morning. And it was nice to have wine when we returned in the evenings.

I couldn’t give this place more than 10 stars - they deserve at least 15.

My husband and I came here to elope, and Palazzo Massaini exceeded all of our expectations by miles. The scenery was gorgeous, the rooms comfortable, the wine refreshing. But most of all the staff went above and beyond to give us the best experience we’ve ever had anywhere. After searching for scenic places to have our ceremony, we were surprised that Palazzo Massaini was the only place who wouldn’t charge us thousands just to use their grounds (non-exclusively) for an afternoon. They gave us a very fair rate, and they even gave us some bottles of wine as a gift. We also slept in late one morning and missed breakfast, and their staff pulled all of the breakfast foods out of the fridge just for us to make sure that we wouldn’t miss a meal. And that’s just one example of many more!

The pool of our particular farmhouse was not available for us, so we had to drive to the other one each time, 2minute drive, but you cannot walk it The room is not luminous, very small windows, perhaps that’s on perhaps to keep the rooms cool?

The location is gorgeous, you feel secluded and it’s very peaceful, yet 10minutes to the centre of pienza and 15 to montepulciano. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. I also really enjoyed their white wine. Breakfast was nice, coffee was great

To access the swimming pool you need to get the car. It would be nice also to have a facility providing drinks at the swimming pool.

Nice to sleep in an old farmhouse, feeling of being in a small medieval village.

No complaints! The only suggestion would be to have a small selection of snacks or even a bread basket for purchase at the property, as the winery has no restaurant (apart from the breakfast, which was really good!!)

The service was exceptional, the hosts were extremely welcoming and made us feel at home. The welcome drink was a lovely surprise, the Rose wine was refreshing and it set the tone for our entire visit. We will most definitely come back to this hotel.

Pool was under construction… so some noise during part of the time. But the hotel really tried their best to apologize for the inconvenience.
