Marco is the absolute best host I ever encountered. He went above and beyond to meet my every need. The location is superb and if I ever visit Florence again, there’s no question I’d stay again.

No one’s fault but in case you have a disability or need an elevator, there is none. Be aware that you have to climb stairs. Marco was gracious to help me with my luggage. Other than that, everything was perfect!

The host goes above and beyond your expectations, always checking in if you need anything and making himself available for you. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in Florence.

Marco (the host of the property) was great and very welcoming. There aren't many hosts that are genuinely friendly and caring and we were very positively surprised. Not only he was flexible with the check-in and check-out time, but also recommended us some great places to visit and try local cuisine. Other pros: - Great value for money - Very good location - 15-20 minutes walk from the train station, city center and main attractions, while still on a quiet street away from the noise and business of more central accommodations. - Rooms are very spacious, you have private bathroom and very comfy bed. The style of the furniture is very well balanced between vintage and some newer pieces to make it feel more modern.

Everything, absolutely everything! First of all, Marco is such an amazing and friendly host. He answered all of my questions and gave resturant recommendations etc even before we arrived. He was very attentive also upon our arrival and made us feel very welcomed. The location of Il Chiostrino is amazing, much better than I initially imagined. You can reach the place easily from Santa Maria Novella on foot or by bus. The centre is only 15 minutes away walking. It is in an area with good restraurants and cafes which are mostly preferred by the locals. The room was very comfortable; simple but lovely decoration and peaceful. The bathroom was new with good facilities. But the most importantly, the place was SPOTLESSLY clean, which I come across very rarely. Marco, thank you so much for this amazing experience. Next time we come to Firenze I know where we will stay.

Marco is a really nice man. I was told only booked one person for two night. It's my mistake, I didn't find the mistake. We are so lucky that the bed is big enough for two people and we won’t end up living on the streets. Haha... Thanks a lot, Marco. The apartment is pretty, cozy, quiet and beautiful. We will live again next time.

It's at the top of the building on what I would call the second floor (ground floor, first floor then second floor) without a lift, so make sure your suitcase isn't too heavy!

The owner was really flexible about check in and check out times, and is expert at using Google Translate to ensure you understand about check out etc. The bed was a sofa bed but it was comfy. Considering it was 37 degrees during my stay it was great to have air conditioning and a fridge/kitchenette to be able not to have to eat out for every meal (although there are nice restaurants and bars within metres of the apartment).

Everything was great

We loved our stay here. The apartment is very comfortable, clean and the location is fantastic. We walked everywhere yet felt out of the hustle and bustle of the center. Marco was a great host, he was incredibly helpful, gave us great suggestions of things to do and places to eat at. We tried them all and were very happy! This was a lovely little apartment in an area slightly away from the main tourist haunts but with lots of local facilities. Supermarkets, cafes, gelaterie and restaurants all a short walk away. Marco was extremely well organised and very helpful, providing all of the information we could need. He arranged to meet us when we arrived to show us round, and was very quick to respond to messages when we had a question. Everything was very clean and there was plenty of space.

Marco is the host at this location and does a phenomenal job of making sure all of his guests are happy and helped in anyway possible by him. He went above and beyond for me and I appreciate it so very much. I really felt like he cared about my time in Florence and wanted to represent it well. Please take his advice on the restaurant to go to for the Florentine steak, it was fantastic. Marco was the best host and I appreciate him so much. You will love your stay here, within walking distance of so much!
