Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThis place is nothing short of absolutely fabulous. The host, Daniele, is the kindest/funniest/coolest person ever. He is always there for you and helps you with whatever you need. This apartment is roomy, has all the amenities and is SO CLOSE to the Vatican. I am already trying to figure out how to get back to Rome! If you are going to Rome - stay here! You are 3 min from the Vatican, 5 min from Castel Sant Angelo, 15 min from Pantheon/Piazza Navona. We love you Daniele!!!!!!

Nice little apartment less than 5 minutes walk from the Vatican in one direction and Castel St'Angelo in the other but very quiet. Kitchen small but had everything we needed for a short stay (hob, microwave, kettle, dishwasher). Small supermarket a few minutes walk away. Restaurants and bars nearby. The Host Danielle was very helpful.

United KingdomThis apartment is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and perfectly positioned for exploring the delights of Rome. You are on the doorstep to the Vatican and there are lots of great bars, restaurants and shops nearby. The host Daniele could not have been more helpful and went out of his way to ensure we had the best trip. We loved everything about this place and will definitely be back!

Irelandnext door is a construction site with work commencing at 7:30am and continuing all day. extremely noisy with hammering and drilling for long periods. Would have liked to have been made aware of this before travelling.

United KingdomAs Autumn approaches, the bed needs more then a sheet and blanket. A thin duvet might have been better for our stay (although the apartment temperature can be adjusted to overcome this) And the water in the shower runs warm, but not quite hot enough for a decent shower
Location is just perfect. On a small side street but metres from a lovely street filled with restaurants and cafes. Booked the tour of St. Peter’s basilica and the Vatican which are both within 5/10 minutes walk… so close we came back to the apartment in between to grab coffee and lunch! Also 5 minutes walk to the river and Trastevere which is a very pretty, quirky area to visit! The apartment itself is very carefully and thoughtfully arranged with every home comfort and amenity to hand. Lovely large bedroom and bathroom and great functional kitchen area. As for the host, a wonderful guy who made us feel very welcome. He spent a great deal of time with us on check in, making sure we were happy with the apartment, also including do’s and don'ts on the city itself and a handy map with the best sights! Felt very safe and comfortable in Daniele’s apartment.

United KingdomA perfect stay with an exceptional host, the area is perfect with lots of restaurants and shops close by, as well as being close to important sights we were able to walk almost everywhere. Daniele was the most helpful host and made us feel very welcome and showed us the area, we would recommend to stay here to anyone!
