- Without 24 hour front desk service, you need to coordinate your arrival to check in during the hours of operation. After booking, I realized the check-in time was before 1300 (1 pm). I arrived in Milan from the Philippines at 0730, and while on the train to Florence I booked my stay. After booking, I recognized the check in requirement by 1300. Pressure. It all worked out. What a day! Be aware of this time limit, which may or may not be adjusted, if you coordinate with the hosts.

-Incredible location. This is why I stayed here. -Wonderful check in process with Giuliana. - Her fantastic recommendations on how to maximize my visit. -It was a luxury to open the windows and permit the cool autumn air and Duomo's energy to enter the space. -There's an Irish pub down stairs and about 20m away. -Unenhanced photo taken from the apartment window.

The bed was a little firm for my liking, and the ringing of the bells takes a little getting used to. But hey, it's Florence.

The location was perfect with a view of the Duomo and the piazza. The hosts were super helpful and gracious. And they have a luggage lift - even if you have to come up a flight of stairs first :) - I would definitely recommend!

At first a little hard to find. As the sign is very small. I was using maps and walked past it 3x. The B&B is right next up MOVEIT record and restaurant. 2 door down from the Irish Pub. The color is more of a mustard color

The location was excellent. Right on the square near museums, restaurants and shopping. Built in 1400 but everything was updated/great clean shower. All sorts of sweets and biscuits in the room each day. There are amazing coffee shops a few doors down so was happy with no breakfast at the B&B. Fresh pastries and fresh squeezed orange juice. Loved opening the windows and seeing all the people walking and shopping. There is fridge in the room with a cork screw ready-a small bottle of nice wine was reasonable for only $6.50. The noise level was good as everything died down at 9:00. The church bells chiming at 7:00 was quaint and charming. As a solo traveler-I felt very safe. There were 3 safety locks with 3 keys. Easy to get in as the keys were all different and worked perfectly.

The bed could have been a little more comfortable.

The location is prime. When we walked up to our room on the second floor and opened the windows, the Cathedral and Baptistry seemed within arms reach-- absolutely spectacular view! The room was simple and clean but it's the view and location which make this a top pick.

The location was amazing. View of the Duomo from the window. Enjoyed people watching, particularly early morning photo moments. Giuliana and family were very welcoming and helpful. Gave the best advice on where to go and what to see.

The location could genuinely not be better! Right next to the cathedral, in the very heart of Florence. Giuliana is the best; she did not spare any effort to make our stay as good as it could be! Everything was super clean and cosy, and the bed was extremely comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. We could not have made a better choice for our stay in Florence!
