“Pioppeto is beautiful! We stayed in a cozy little apartement in the garden. Located 15 min from Montecassino abbey, and just off the highway it was a perfect place to relax along the way and avoid a drab hotel. The staff is very kind and accomodating. There is a restaurant on site that is operated separately and we ate very well, it is a highend restaurant only serving seafood and it seems like locals come to enjoy too. All the other guests at the agriturismo were Italian, which is always a good sign. It was a lovely stay in an unassuming place, we would return!”
