  “Masseria Gelsi was a fantastic place to stay! The owners are extremely friendly and kind, the room was huge and everything is of the highest quality. A great kitchen with all the equipment we needed for cooking meals. The breakfast was outstanding with local cheese, fresh bread and so much more. Great location 13 min outside of Lecce.”

  “The apartment corresponds to the upper class according to Italian standards. It contains everything you need and if something is missing, the owner will take care of it. It's in a non-touristy part, so it's pretty quiet most of the time. The owners are very warm, you feel very welcome from the start. We arrived by car and therefore didn't know exactly when we would arrive, they were flexible at check-in and really helpful. They provide information about nearby places to eat, some markets and excursions if you are interested. We tried some of the dishes and they were really delicious and not overpriced. The beach is 4 minutes walk away. There are more people there on the weekends but only local people so it's really relaxing. It also has a beach club with loungers and parasols, or you can take the parasol from the apartment.”
