“We loved our stay at Hotel Rosemarie. The hotel is family run and everyone who works there is extremely friendly and we felt very looked after. The cleaners clean your room every day and so the room was very clean. The room had everything we needed and had a lovely view of the lake with the mountains behind it. The breakfast was excellent, with hot and cold options - the home made carrot cake in particular was very tasty! The location is excellent - it’s a 10 minute walk to Limone beach and a further 10 minutes to Limone centre. We loved Limone - it has great restaurants and a lovely feel to it, although it does get quite busy in the town, but that is to be expected. Limone is an excellent base to visit the northern parts of the lake - a 15 minute ferry ride to Malcesine and a 15 minute drive to Riva del Garda. It’s a bit longer to get to Sirmione, we drove and it took 1.5 hours but to be honest we much preferred Malcesine and Limone to Sirmione anyway. Overall, we loved our stay.”
