  • Old Garden Review score: 9

“This was more like a home-stay than a typical Booking.com room. The host met me at the station, offered lunch several times, and was generally helpful and friendly; breakfast was excellent, (fresh-squeezed orange juice, home-made marmalade; cheese, ham, bread, pastry....) room wonderful, and the location is perfect: only a short walk both to the historic center and the new town. It is necessarily a bit far from Cosenza Station, but staying near the station would have meant being far from everything else. Also there's a garden filled with jasmine whose perfume fills the entire place.”

  • Dimora de Matera Luxury Suites Review score: 9.2

“Right in the beautiful and interesting old town. Such character. Modern rooms in an impressively renovated historic building. Wonderful breakfasts on the terrace with very helpful hosts who love their building and their town. Really nice restaurants, particularly a 'Salumeria', with local style, sophistication, and great flavours.”

  • Casa Santa Lucia Review score: 7.7

    “huge beautiful apartment.”

  • Old Garden Review score: 9

“Such a cute place, I really enjoyed my stay and the hosts made me feel right at home. The garden is beautifully wild, a little pocket of green inside a town mostly made of stone. The trees were fruiting and the berries were delicious. The place is run by a lovely couple, it was very intimate being in their home, so I wouldn't expect hotel-like privacy, but if you're open to the experience I would highly recommend it.”

  • Dimora de Matera Luxury Suites Review score: 9.2

“Beautiful place, amazing views from roof terrace. Fabulous breakfast. Clean well appointed room. The town of Cosenza surpassed all expectation. A bit quiet in siesta time 😉 The old town is amazing. We climbed up to the currently closed castle. The views are amazing and the rustic street views and art are surreal.”

  • Manu's Guest Suite Review score: 9.8

“Very comfortable apartment with everything we needed for self-catering. Spacious, clean, great verandah, and good location. Lots of snacks, water, and breakfast supplies provided. Host very responsive.”

  • L'albero di Giuggiole Review score: 8.8

“This is a lovely, quaint apartment with a gorgeous courtyard for relaxing. It is very clean with a comfortable bed and a good shower. There is a fridge, hotplate and basic kitchen items. It is centrally located with parking in the street. Francesca speaks reasonable English even though she doesn't think she does. She is very friendly and helpful.”

  • Epoca Home Review score: 9.2

“The lovely comfy bed, the balcony area and the general quirkiness. Very nicely decorated. Breakfast was super too.”

  • “This is a characterful historic building in the heart of the old town. It is still used for artistic presentations and meetings, so there is an interesting bustle to the place. Still, they are very strict on events ending by 11pm, and so at night it is very quiet.”
