“This was more like a home-stay than a typical Booking.com room. The host met me at the station, offered lunch several times, and was generally helpful and friendly; breakfast was excellent, (fresh-squeezed orange juice, home-made marmalade; cheese, ham, bread, pastry....) room wonderful, and the location is perfect: only a short walk both to the historic center and the new town. It is necessarily a bit far from Cosenza Station, but staying near the station would have meant being far from everything else. Also there's a garden filled with jasmine whose perfume fills the entire place.”

The garden is beautifully wild, a little pocket of green inside a town mostly made of stone. The trees were fruiting and the berries were delicious.
The place is run by a lovely couple, it was very intimate being in their home, so I wouldn't expect hotel-like privacy, but if you're open to the experience I would highly recommend it.”
