Nice basic room in great rural location. Everything was clean. The community room and kitchen were good. Fantastic view of the northern lights

The room is quite small, for us with 2 luggages was a bit difficult to have them opened in the same time. Also, the bathroom very small

The only furniture in the room were the beds and a large block of wood. A shelf for placing items or somewhere to store a suitcase would be nice. Check-in is available from 4-9 via a phone call . Check-in could have been smoother as we could only check-n via phone and there was no answer until we reached the property at 8:30.

Location was great for visiting Skogafoss Waterfall. Facility was clean and beds were comfortable. Kitchen facilities were well stocked.

The rooms really are tiny. No place to put your things. One can barely open the suitcase. Very bare bones. The bathroom couldn’t have been any smaller. On he other hand, it’s cheap. There is a big common room upstairs with couches and a kitchenette. We didn’t cook but it can be great to have that. It felt safe and friendly.

Before our arrival I've send , day upon day , 2 questions. No answer. There is a phone for contact when you enter the building but we didn't need to use it bec our key code worked .

The common kitchen is adequately and properly outfitted. There is a coffee machine whereas coffee is free. A toster, microwave, 2 fridges and 2 little stowes. Joint living area is cosy and comfortable . Rooms are a bit small but clean and warm.

Bathroom was too small, specially the sink didn't have enough space to brush, something for hang things in the bathroom would be appreciated.

Location with great surrounding views, the shared kitchen had all utensils needed for cooking, coffe machine, couch areas with arcade game and dining space was really good

There is no kettle in the kitchen! I have to boil water in the pot. Very small bathrooms. NO WIFI, NO MOBILE DATA!

Standard of the place is adequate to the price :) Well equiped kitchen apart from the lack of kettle.

Very small room, bathroom was not working as it should (we did not mention this to reception, it maybe could have been fixed then), stairs to above is rather steep, for 85 year old a bit dangerous. Rooms are noisy

There is al lot of equipment to be used in kitchen available. Lots of room above to eat and sit in the evening. Coffee and tea available. Entrance through codes, easy going. Very quiet surroundings. Enough parking space

- The bathrooms were not very clean (there was hairs in the shower and on the walls) - One room was missing a curtain which was over the beds on the first day - the coffee machine was not working properly and was totally switched off on the second night - The triple room was very small

- Position was near Vik but secluded enough to enjoy the night sky - the kitchen and common area were fully equipped which was nice

Very small room without room for luggage, tiny bathroom and shower with water running either boiling hot or freezing cold.

Big, fully equipped kitchen with two stoves, spacious common room, available coffee and tea. The location is also good, very near the main road.

There is no wardrobe in the room and the shower will be very unconfortable for majority of people because of its tiny size. It can be confusing to find the correct room because at the same place are more cottages with same room numbers. So, instructions: You have to go inside the big white cottage from the cover picture to reach your room.

Location and the view from the room was great. Room was small but cozy and warm. Fully equiped kitchen and common area.

The room and bathroom are small. No hook in the bathroom to keep the clothes.

The shower has very limited space, which was inconvinient, my wife moaned a lot more about this, so it is dependent from your needs.

We expected something dirty and very loud, but it was different. The key for access was provided 2 days upfront, so access to our room was easy. The room itself has limited space, but was suffcient for all our laguage, The bed was okay and using ear protection I could really sleep well. Having a private bathroom was also what we wanted and we could use. The nearby hot pool was also a nice addition, which we liked

I liked the shared kitchen and lounge area. The setting was stunning with the views of the glacier.
