Location is good, close to everything. Parking garage, you need to check in first to get the card to open the parking garage.

The room felt stuffy even with the heat turned off. There was an unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom - I am assuming from the water supply, but we did not experience that in the other 4 hotels we stayed across Iceland.

The breakfast was delicious, especially the rye bread! I even asked the server where I could possibly purchase it. Location was perfect for walking to bars and restaurants.

The room is quite small, but is ok to stay for a night.

The hotel has a carpark which is very good for those with cars. The breakfast is good to have a waffle machine. There is a balcony to see the streets.

All was good. If you were travelling on your own the door to the car park garage would be awkward as you have to get out of the car.

Great location and super friendly staff. Great breakfast included and parking on site.

The room got very hot, which made it quite stuffy. Also, the bedside lamp was loose.

Hotel is in a very good location and staff were very helpful. The rooms are modern and clean. They are on the smaller size but have large beds. And for a short stay it's fine. Very good block out blinds. Breakfast was very good.

Skuggi was ideally located in Reykjavík . Plenty of restaurants within walking distance . Good selection for breakfast .

It was a little beat up here and there. The bathroom counter was made of MDF and it was warped and peeling.

Dark decor. Signage in garage area on where to get into the hotel. Lighting in room could be brighter.

Parking. Comfortable beds, firm pillows and clean but most of all the room was quiet at night and we did not hear our neighbors. Bathroom was clean and had plenty of hot water in the shower. Nice breakfast.

The location was great - easy walking to all the sights in Reykjavik. The room was comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was good. We especially appreciated that all the food was labeled at breakfast with what it was, allergens, etc.

We found the unfriendly welcome at check-in disappointing. When we asked about the parking lot, which, according to the description of the hotel, should be available to us, we were told: “The parking spaces are not guaranteed.” We should consider the parking lot as a “gift” if we are lucky enough to get one. If there are no spaces available, we should park on the street and pay for it ourselves. Luckily we were able to get the last parking space in the hotel garage, otherwise our stay in the hotel would have been quite expensive. Room was quite dark. As our windows were on the street side, it was quite noisy so we couldn't sleep with the window open.

Very good location in the center of Reykjavík. Clean, relatively large room with nice design and good furnishings. Very good breakfast with lots of selection. Very friendly staff at breakfast.

It’s stylish, beautiful simple scandinavian design. Good breakfast. Very helpful staff. Special thanks to a beautiful lady on a reception, who called a bus transport provider for me, and helped with the hotel pickup service. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Will stay here again when I travel to Reykjavik again.

The room seems a little bit too much dark, maybe more light in general. But nothing to really brother or avoid to booking. Great place indeed

Friendly helpful staff, tea/coffee/water facilities at the bar. Breakfast was well presented, all very clean & well stocked. Housekeeping staff were always so friendly always made a point of saying Hello. Great to have an easily accessible car park.

A gym or spa would have made this hotel perfect. The room was rather too hot.

Very comfortable, calm and relaxing atmosphere. Good selection at breakfast. The view of the geyser from the restaurant was special.
