This is a lovely property, clean and modern spaces in a great location close to town. We loved the hot tub and the views! Also, there are laundry facilities, which are hard to come by in most Iceland properties. Highly recommend!

Having one bottle of soap for both lavatory and shower was inconvenient. A box of tissue papers would have been helpful.

The room was spacious with a nice view. We appreciated shampoo and conditioner!

I loved this place: it was the perfect break from hotel rooms, the bed was super comfy, there is everything you may need for a short stay, the terrace has a gorgeous view, the check in was super easy and I even managed to do a quick round of laundry (free).

beds were not very nice. Did not sleep very comfortably. very thick cheap mattress cover seemingly to disguise an older or cheaper mattress maybe. Not for sure but was subpar.

there was only 1 socket at the bed and it was awkwardly in the middle of the bed. there should be at least 2 sockets near the pillows

We did not manage the cool the place down, but maybe it was our fault.

It is a really nice small apartment with everything needed. Very happy with the choice and great value for money.

There was a really bad smell from the dishwasher that didnt go away until we had let it go for two sicles empty.

Good location. Short walk to the center of the town but still in a very quiet place.

Due to we have 7 people sharing the shower, so we use the hair dryer in the living room, causing the power outage, we’d called the host and the situation got solved quickly! so there’s no big problem~

we’re peasant to be here for one night!(and should stay longer) the house is very nice for all equipments and there’s hot tub outside the house, we have a wonderful night there!

View is good. Would be nice with some extra glasses, plates and etc. We had 3 friends over for pre-drink before going out for dinner and did not have enough glasses to drink from. Only two of us staying for the weekend but would be nice if possible to invite over for an hour or two visit. Other then that it is excellent

Squeaky chairs (should be easy to fix).

There were some kitchen cutlery missing, nothing to put over the bed during the day. It would be good to put something under the chairs, they made a lot of noice when moving. And it would be nice to have two small more comfortable chairs.

Pillows could have been better and tissue paper for the kitchen area.

We love the amazing view from the balcony. We got lucky to see the Northern lights from the balcony on 1 of the nights.

The only issue is really the location as you need to take the car to go into the city center.

The apartment was really nice although a bit outside the center of Akureyri. It had all the necessary equipment to prepare some food and rest.

I probably should have spend the extra money for the hot-tub room because it would have been a nice extra. But no complaints 10/10

This is where we saw the northern lights! Amazing value for money. Had everything a self-catering house could possibly need. Attention to detail. Kitchen was fully kitted and we cooked a lovely supper. Large windows onto a balcony allowed us to stay warm indoors while still keeping an eye out for the northern lights. Comfortable bed and large living area and bathroom. Easy check in.

It is a bit of walking distance from the city center (about 20 minutes walk). Of course, with the car, it is rather fast but be prepared that this is a standalone property, there are no grocery stores or cafes in immediate walking distance.

We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was quiet and spacious. The view was also very tranquil and nice. The kitchen had a kettle and other basic utilities. The bathroom was also big and had everything necessary. We did not meet anyone, but the key collection was straightforward.
