We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

BelgiumWe had really enjoyed our stay at Raudaskrida. It was only tarnished by the cost. A small detail but one I feel worth mentioning because we did not see such a significant percentage hike from other hotels where we paid at the hotel. I didn't see this until I read my credit card account some 3/4 weeks later. Pity because everything else was really very good. Tip: I would recommend paying the agreed price direct through Booking.com, if possible.
The food (breakfast only on our stay), accommodation and staff were all as one would hope to find. The oly reason I have not awarded 10/10, was that the owner was not forthcoming, except for an SMS sent to us before our arrival, that the cook had burned himself and it meant the evening meals would not be available, necessitating the use of not so local restaurants (30 - 40 km each way). However, we did get the warning.

SwitzerlandThey accidentally gave us a room with 2 twin beds instead of the double we booked, but I was informed well in advance and the hotel staff apologized many times.
Breakfast was superb, such a beautifully decorated building and fantastic service. There was a massive variety of baked goods, fresh meats/fruits/yogurt etc. The room was quiet and spacious with very comfortable beds. We absolutely loved this hotel!!

United StatesWe liked everything overall..only caveat might be the location if you want to be in a town as the location is in the county, but it is close to several scenic areas as we stayed there for 4 days as a central location to drive to many places within 60 miles that we wanted to see. They usually have a chef on staff and you can have supper there but he was injured before we arrived; so we had to eat supper elsewhere.
The breakfast was very good with lots of options and extra toppings for cereal; bread, etc. the staff and especially the husband and wife owners are very nice, helpful, and friendly.

United KingdomBit out of the way but in a picturesque setting. Fantastic room with lots of space and great views. Best breakfast we had in our 10 day stay in Iceland. The owners were lovely, their commitment to environmental sustainability admirable and the pet rabbit wandering the grounds was another highlight. We look forward to staying there again if we revisit Iceland.

There was a hot tub (I think for free) which we didn't use due to late arrival. Rooms were in bungalow style with much space. Bathroom was very good.
