Nice hotel in a great part of the city not in the center of it all

We had just flown in from Utah, a 10 hour flight. We arrived at noon and hoped we could maybe get an early check-in( before 3 pm local time) When we arrived we were told they were working on our rom. We were not checked in until # pm. I understand there are a great many tourist and large groups coming in. We should have been told that our room would not be ready prior to 3 pm so we could have walked around. We were just so tired.

I liked that there was a bar/ restaurant attached to the hotel. Also there are several other really good places to et near by.

Great bar and restaurant, but menu was a little restricted for our palette. We did try foods we've never tried before, and we're still here :)

Perfect location beside the Reykjavik Marina and easy walk along the coast, and into the town centre. Nice compact room, comfortable and clean with ensuite facilities. Complimentary tea/coffee options from reception and a comfortable quiet area to get away from the buzz. Superb breakfast options...

We didn't use the restaurant, so cannot really comment fairly - however it looked a little sparse.

The location could not be better for any seabound excursions. Easy walking distance to the harbour for whale watching, also good for the city centre. Staff were friendly and helpful in arranging transport back to the airport.

Clean, friendly staff, moderately spacious rooms for a European hotel, good bar and public spaces.

Conveniently located..with easy access to the old harbour restaurants (which were all fantastic) and bus stop 15 for airport coach dropoffs n tour pick ups. An easy 10 min walk away from the high street n the city sightseeing are all easily walkable. The expresso coffee machine was a great room addition with fresh aroma of great coffee. we were given a harbour view room with a little balcony n it was nice to have the lovely view from the room. Must try is a nice cafe opposite called Deig n a fining dining option the Steakhouse.

There is no delimitation for the shower, so the water is stopped only by the towel to go all over the bathroom.

Location. The room is comfortable. The personal was very helpful.

Nothing really. The carpet down the bar toilets could do with a clean.

Super friendly & helpful staff. The hotel stored our cases after leaving our ship early at 10 am till the room being available at 3 pm so we could explore the cite. Great location and a good atmosphere in the place. Got an upgrade as well.

The hotel is great but an eye for details would be great. Under my bed it was dirty (not very badly) and this is not a good feeling… as well the staff at reception is a bit too casual and relaxed. They need to be more professional and the same for the cleaning people who were rather cold and rude. I would still recommend the hotel to anyone!

The property is located in a quiet area in the center. Easy to access anything you want to visit in the city or take organized tours to the Island (next to bus stop). The breakfast was very good and with a lot of choices for all tests and of good quality. The room was nice and view ver the harbor pleasant. The staff at breakfast was very friendly and professional.

    nothing

This is a great hotel right by the marina close to everything. I strongly recommend a stay here. The family rooms had bunk beds which was interesting and fun for the kids. The pictures of the room are slightly deceptive in showing them bigger than they are but they are comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids. They were advertised as for 4 adults and 2 kids. But that’s a bit too many people although there are 4 bunk beds snd 2 sleeper sofa bed. You can literally not put a step anywhere if you have 6 people in this room. Hotel is very charming and full of character. Highly recommend a stay here because it’s close to everything and the staff are very friendly. We will come back here.

1 day before my stay I was told they were moving me to a sister hotel at the airport. Not close at all. They were going to “ give me a suite and comp breakfast “. I refused. They then offered “ spa and original hotel. I asked them to comp breakfast and they did, as this did cause stress do last minute change of plans.

This is a great location for everything you want to do in Reykjavik. Can walk to everything. Also has a free gravel parking lot to the left of the hotel which is handy if you have a rental car.

Breakfast was nice, but the price was crazy expensive.

Gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and tried to help us figure out the cruise ship shuttle. The room was small, but nice. I liked the little balcony overlooking the harbor. The location was fantastic. We walked to the Harpa and other sites and the tour bus stop 15 less than 5 minutes walk away.
