Excellent location for visiting Snaefellsnes. Spacious and comfortable room with direct access to the outside. Effective heating with underfloor heating. Good restaurant with a glorious and tasty fish of the day. Rich and varied breakfast Very large parking space. Not a notable problem, however, in our room the smart TV was unable to receive direct TV channels, only channels such as You Tube, etc.

Hotel is in a remote location (very good while visiting the Snaefellsnes area) with nice views. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good.

Indoor connectivity to the rooms would be nice, because we got wet everytime we had to go to the lobby/restaurant

It's on a highway with nothing much around, so location is not extra ordinary. Limited options around for dining etc, so most meals were in the hotel which has a smallish menu. Food quality was good enough, but not extraordinary. The nearby Lava Resort had a wonderful restaurant. The TV was good to pass time on a very windy and rainy day where we couldn't really explore much.

Food was phenomenal. Staff were very helpful and kind. Breakfast was very good and convenient. Would recommend to anyone for a rural stay in Iceland. Rooms were lovely and clean.

Great location, excellent friendly staff from Italy and Slovakia, we were made to feel most welcome. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and tasty. Highly recommended.

Ventilation in the rooms could’ve been better. After a night of sleep it was a little stuffy in the room. This is pretty common wherever you stay in Europe, and the only real downside. Just something for an American like me to get used to.

The beds are very comfortable, staff accommodating, and the food at the restaurant delicious. Would heartily recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the peninsula.

The price was a bit high.

The beds, the coffee machine in the room, the best breakfast in all of the 14 day roadtrip in Iceland, the staff and the peacefulness despite the hotel being close to the road.

It wasn't a problem for us as the weather was pleasant in April, however a note for other guests is that the main hotel entrance and restaurant is separate to the hotel rooms, like American style motels so you have to walk outside to get from your room to breakfast.

There are very few hotel options in this area and we really enjoyed our stay here. We had our evening meal in the restaurant as there are not many options around and we enjoyed it, I eat vegetarian too and there were a couple of options which I appreciated. Breakfast was also very good with a variety of options. The room was nice, and a very quiet area so we had a good night sleep before our whale tour the next morning!

Had a perfect stay here . Friendly, welcoming staff , fabulous breakfast , delicous food in the onsite Vegamot Cafe and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in at a hotel . The room was spotlessly clean and the location was superb , with stunning views all around . Also despite being just off the main road there was no noise from any passing cars , and the whole are was very peaceful .Would definately recommend and would stay again .Thankyou very much.

This hotel is in a great location for exploring the Snaefellsnes area. The room was lovely and warm despite the snowy weather and the kettle and coffee machine were much appreciated. Comfortable beds and a really good shower. Breakfast was great. Evening meals looked lovely too, but we were out exploring too late to try them. Great value for money.

Breakfast options could have been better.

The location was perfect to start/end our journey around the peninsula. We got to see the Northern Lights both nights. The rooms were good size and comfortable beds.
