Very convenient to the Thorsmork area if you are doing any of the jeep and hiking tours. Extremely beautiful location with quite the mountain right behind the hotel. No dinner at the hotel when we were there in June 2024, but there is a nice bistro at a different hotel just down the road next to Skogafoss. Buffet breakfast was included and was quite good.

Nothing to complain, except for minor things. The shower curtains were not enough to prevent the water from splashing. Bathroom door was a bit clumsy and did not isolate the bathroom very well. When we moved the single beds to make it a double bed, we noticed some dirt on the floor beneath the bed. When we arrived, there was an odour of cleaning agent, which eventually vanished, but when we tried to open the windows we did not managed to do it.

Great breakfast. The soap in the bathroom had a very good scent. The door code I was given did not work, but I called the staff and they helped immediately. They were very helpful and practical. Check-in and check-out went very smoothly although it was unmanned. The hotel is located very close to Skógafoss. The view of the mountains is breathtaking.

- gravel road to the hotel with a few potholes (but fine even for 2WD car) - not enough space for clothes or personal items in the room - bathroom door didn't close properly, also shower is just a part of the bathroom, not a separate shower cabin so water will be everywhere, but it is all manageable. Looks like it is a common type of the shower at the hotels in Iceland. - self check in for the room - our code didn't work and we had to call someone, because no one was at the reception, but we were helped very quickly

It's OK place to stay for 1 or 2 nights, room was small, but has all the necesseties (but had to borrow a hairdryer from the lobby). This hotel has 3 "houses" with rooms, there is a kettle and tea\coffee in the lobby of the each house with rooms and you can use coffee machine in the main breakfast area as well. - Good breakfast with hot options(bacon, pancakes, sausages), toasts, ham and cheese, cereals, basic fruits and veggies, but try to come early so there is enough coffee in the machine. - Enough parking for everyone. Good view from the room. - Good location - 30 min to Vik and attractions, some attractions are nearby

The walls are quite thin however the other guests were respectful of quiet hours and we slept undistributed! Would like to have additional surfaces and hooks in room and bathroom for clothes/luggage. Would love a self-laundry option!

Breakfast was a delicious spread with many options. Bed was extremely comfortable! Great location, easy to find, comprehensive check in instructions, loved the communal areas with amenities, plenty of parking. Was very clean and overall very comfortable!

We stayed for one night and the location is very convenient near the highway and Skogafoss. Room and bathroom were clean. Very friendly staff at the breakfast buffet. I liked the variety.

The smoking area inside next to the entrance to the building. Not enough toilet paper was left, after our request it was left next day.

The size of the room, full kitchen with all needed equipments, two big radiators.
