Convenient location for exploring area, hot pools included, breakfast included, room had good views. Enjoyed view of glacier and horses when the fog cleared - really beautiful surroundings. Simple but efficient.

Breakfast is a little later than other properties (at 7.30) but this is a minor nitpick. Also at the shower we didn't have soap provided by the hotel, we needed to use the one near the sink. Not a big deal but a minor inconvenience.

The breakfast is good you have good options to eat. The room had one of the best blinds from the properties that we stayed. Good for sleeping during the summer time of the island.

A hot breakfast would be nice. The breakfast was on par with other included breakfasts during my stay in Iceland...cold cuts, mostly deli meats & cheese, some grains, breads, etc.

Staff was very friendly & helpful when I called after taking a wrong turn (read a sign directing me to a different location). I had a view of the glacier from my room which was quite nice. The bed was very comfortable & the room was quiet. The shower was large with ample hot water.

Breakfast was included but very mediocre. The coffee was undrinkable. A couple of people had waffles but when we asked where they were, the busboy pointed us at the microwave. The description implies that the hot tubs are on site but they are several hundred yards down the road and open to the public.

The stay was good. We had a good view of the Hoffels glacier from the room and an even better one from outside. The room was clean and housekeeping staff were very friendly. It's a little off the beaten track so it was quiet, but there's no restaurant so eat before you arrive or drive to Hofn for dinner.

Just 2 small things. The room was HOT. And being that the sun doesn't really set, we had to close the drapes to block the light to get any sleep, and it was super stifling at night. Maybe a fan during the summer months just to circulate the air. And when I was showering, it went from very hot(which I didn't mind) to freezing with no warning. The last 60 seconds of my shower were not pleasant. My husband said the same thing happened to him, but he turned the water off completely, then back on, and it fixed it. Wish I'd thought to try that! Ha!

Practically everything! Wish we had more time there! Hot tubs were 👌🏻 The location couldn't be beat 😍 The room was large and comfortable 🥰 Amenities in the common area were awesome 👍🏻

The faucet in shower was stuck and had to use force to turn it. Even then the water was really hot.

Lovely hotel surrounded by mountains. Hot tubs are not the newest but the view makes up for it. One of the most comfortable beds I slept in while in Iceland. Breakfast had tasty waffles.

Amazing views from the Guesthouse, we could see the glacier and also some horses. The staff were amazing! We were welcomed by smiles and the smell of fresh baked cookies. I had a fall during my trip and the girls were amazing, trying to help anyway they could. Shoutout to Zuzana and Kamila, thank you for your sweetness and all your help.

Great service and breakfast! The rooms were clean and very comfortable. But the best part is the location as it is located right next to a glacier that you can visit with a 4x4 vehicle.

Someone needs to fix the front door, when entering the main building, as it is hard to close (building, where 208 is).

This is a small guesthouse, close to the glaciers, in a quiet area. I work in the hospitality industry and I must say that I was extremely pleasantly surprised by my stay. The room is cosy and warm, clean and with a great shower. If you are looking for a place close to Höfn but also Jökulsárlón, then this is the perfect place for you. You are in the middle of both places and the prices are much more reasonable than in either of the other places. I cannot recommend this place enough! It is a fantastic guesthouse that has all bases covered & the perfect price-value-ratio! But please do not come here and expect a 5 star hotel - it is not.

It is in a isolated location so if the hotel restaurant is closed you need to visit the near by town for dinner.

The location is perfect , good breakfast. Clean tidy rooms with gorgeous view of the nearby glacier. Perfect place to see northern lights. We saw northern lights from the room itself. Bed was comfortable and room was soundproof. In the cost included you can enjoy the hot tubs as well
