The bed was a little soft for our liking.

Very warm welcome from Eva. She showed us around and helped with the coffee. Kitchen and dining facility are excellent, with new appliances and plenty of space for multiple guests to prepare meals. Two large bathrooms meant no long wait. Bedrooms had lots of hanging space and shelving for packs. Our bedroom had direct access via a sliding door to the large outdoor deck.

We only stayed here one night. The rooms are very clean. The kitchen has everything we need. Very nice ocean view. The bathrooms are shared but we don’t feel any inconvenience. The host is very nice. He replaces beddings immediately after people left.

Zero soundproofing amidst very noisy doors and locks. The flurry of bedtime routines like bathroom use meant it was impossible to sleep early. Someone arrived at 3am and caused quite a din. Bedroom balcony door could not lock due to misalignment.

Sunset views of the fjords from the room. No road or roofs to block the views, just a small grassy patch. Outdoor deck accessible via balcony. Complimentary bread, butter, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and juice. Effective floor heating. No shoes in the house policy. Some hotels in Iceland remove one set of bedding and towel if only one person was staying in a double room. Not here.

The room could have been equiped with more furniture, there are 2 single beds in the room and one chair.

For 6 rooms, there were only 2 bathrooms (2 toilets and 3 showers). Not enough when the property is full.

The location was gorgeous as it was right on the water. Too bad it was so cloudy we couldn't see any northern lights! The beds were very comfortable and warm. We were in a triple so space was a bit tight. Try to get a room facing the water so you can also see the whales swim up! A bonus was meeting the adorable pup that showed up the next morning!!

A very comfortable stay in a lovely location by the water, with very well equiped kitchen and delightful dining/lounge area. Very easy check in. The huge bathroom with double shower was much appreciated.

Everything was beautiful and perfect. The room has views to the lake. It was super clean. The kitchen well equiped and it includes complementary breakfast. We arrive late and they manage to let everything prepared for us! Highly recommended

Well, this was my first guesthouse stay in my Iceland trip, didn't have much expectation and tot it was worst than hotel, but it turned up I like it so much that I will choose guesthouses in my entire trip next time when I visit Iceland.

A very lovely and warm home that made our stay in Iceland an absolute delight and comfort. Our hosts were welcoming and the place was pretty, clean and spacious. The sea view was therapeutic. We loved the place!

It seems to not have dishwashing liquid, only can use dishing machine.

Free bread and many flavors sauces as breakfast. The kitchen is neat and clean.

Internal sound insulation is not great, I slept with ear plugs (which I do in most places to be honest, in Iceland and travelling in general).. luckily the other guests were very respectful and noise was to a min.

Easy self check in; room overlooking the fjord with excellent views and access to the porch; 2 bathrooms and big, fully furnished kitchen; very comfortable bed! Easy to access from main road, parking just outside the gh.
