Our rooms were on 3rd level, and bathrooms for bathing only located on 1st level for all (every levels) to use.

Location is good to start the peninsula trip. Basic facilities to sleep, bathe and cook.

Perfect localization near harbour and lighthouse. Interior design is cosy and tinted with the atmosphere of a mountain hut. All of the shared spaces are clean and well-equipped.

I have stayed at several guesthouses in Iceland, so my expectations for how clean and comfortable this would be were low. I was wrong, this is an amazing place to stay! It is located by the ferry terminal, which was especially convenient as we arrived at 8:30pm and our young kids (two 8yr olds and a 5yr old) were exhausted. The bathrooms and all common areas are very clean, and the property is comfortable. Two of my children have celiac disease, and the staff were very helpful in putting together a breakfast away from the buffet to avoid cross-contamination. I highly recommend, and expect to return!

Perfect place for our family to stay for a night. Very easy to access. Plenty of space in the family room. Was able to get some work/school work done in their kitchen area, which was also spacious. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Great location for exploring.

    Very small bedroom

Very well located apartment on the harbour at Stykkisholmur, which was convenient for the ferry to Westfjords and as a base to see Snaefellsnes. Nice cafe on site and breakfast was very good. The room itself was very small with twin beds and not much space, but was fair value for money in this location. Shared facilities such as bathrooms and kitchen were of a good standard.

I liked the location, close to harbor and street restaurants, easy to go to Sugandisey Island lighthouse. We had a family room, which was quite simple, but ok. The common area was decorated in a old style, which was quite a nice touch.

Perhaps the cute piano and guitar shouldn't be put next to the rooms. They are nice but can be loud for others that just want to rest. If they're on the entrance room (the cafe), it might be much better I suppose.

The place is much cuter than in photos, which is wonderful! The common rooms (the living room, kitchen and dining) give great vibes and it's an ideal place to meet and hangout with international people.

Blackout curtains for the summer sun would have made it perfect.

Fantastic little stay underneath a cafe with amazing food. Location wise, next to the harbour and ferry and in the centre of town. Several places to pick from around town to have dinner. Breakfast was delicious and the choices on offer were great. Really enjoyed having fruits too. The facilities were well kept and clean, the kitchen well stocked and the dining room next door spacious. The staff were delightful and helpful. Felt very well looked after during my stay. The place had the vibe of wanting to be environmentally friendly and preserve nature. Bed was comfortable and the room had enough sockets for charging with.

This place is absolutely amazing and we couldn’t be happier. The customer service from the owner is out of this world. We had a little trouble getting into the room when we first arrived (which never happens to them) but they went over and above taking care of us. They have a very vintage type look to the guesthouse with all the imaginable amenities. The kitchen, showers, rooms, are all incredible. The owner also took time to tell us where to go upon check out which we were thankful for. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
