The clean was very superficial. And the bed didn't have a real mattress, It was more like a sponge.

Has a wonderful view and the online communication was great! The space was pretty big, a big dining room! The house was warm even when outside it was cold and windy.

You should wash the dishes before using them. There is no washing machine and it happens that the glasses/cups or cuttlery are dirty.

The guesthouse is located closed to the road, in a good spot to observe the northern lights. The windows facing north are very helpful. There is a hot tub on each terrance, where the guest might hop in to observe the northern lights or the nearby ocean coast (by day). The 3-room apartment was spacious and at a very good price.

The registration building is a bit hard to find, because it is not directly at the entrance, it is an extremely small building, and the sign is not obvious. Also, the attendant is usually nearby, but seldom in the building.

Guesthouse Hof is located in the countryside near the ocean. The location was great for going to Snaefellsjokull National Park and there is a view of the Snaefellsjokull glaciated volcano from the site. There are a few nearby restaurants but a car would be a necessity. We stayed in a half-cabin with a small ensuite bathroom. It was very appropriate for the setting. We did have some noise from our cabin neighbors, but just the drone of talking voices. The cabin room was small, but workable. They have a shared building with a kitchen and Wi-Fi. There is no Wi-Fi in the cabins. The kitchen was sufficient for cooking an evening meal and was quite busy. If planning to use the kitchen, plan ahead as there are no grocery stores nearby. Parking is free and directly outside the cabin or room. Breakfast is not provided, but there is a water pot in the room.

We weren't overly impressed with the bathroom. The shower was very dark and slightly tight. It was really windy during our stay, so we didn't have access to the hot tub that was part of the accommodation.

Location nicely located off the highway with a view of the ocean was nice. Beds were comfortable, and there was a large eating area in our guesthouse.

The customer service of Ms. Laila was awesome and welcoming. The room was nice with a great view. Overall Ms. Laila made this one of my wife's favorite lodgings in Iceland on our 12 Trek.

I'm sure if I would have asked, everything would have been corrected, but I was tired. The towels were thin and limited to the number of guests in the room. The bunk beds were not comfortable for a fat American man. The futon in the living area was, however!

The location is absolutely beautiful! Our the back door is an active farm. The room was spacious and extremely clean! The hostess was so kind and friendly. She helped us locate a place to eat, and her recommendations were great!

Room was very dim and some light bulbs need replacing. Bathroom shower area has no light thus bathing in the dark. Antique TV in the Living room but no reception.. Kitchen equipped like a commercial kitchen. Bath tub has conteols that do not work. Uncomfortable Beds that sinks in the middle. Needs replacing.

Big room. Good location along the Ring Road North to West. Easy t9 locate. Walkable to Ytri Tunga by the beach. Room has a hot tub in the backyard.

A bit hard to find at night, but we managed. You have to take your shoes off at the entrance. Room is a bit too small. Some insects around. There's a small public kitchen for all the guests, it means you literally have to go outside for it, since it's on another cabin.

Great location in a beautiful place. A small cabin with lots of privacy. It's a self check-in hotel, so a late check-in is acceptble and you can travel with no pressure. Very good price for Iceland in the summer. Also, there's a cat :)

It was extremely hot in the cabin when we arrived, they had put every heater on although it was a warm and sunny day. We turned off the heaters and opened the door and windows for an hour before we could go in. The shower was quite small.

A lovely guesthouse with cabins. Parking right outside our cabin, very convenient check in/out. Amazing view.

Charming room in a little chalet, small but functional. Just next to the beach, in the middle of the countryside. The owner was very nice! The staff recommended interesting spots to see around the peninsula.
