Taking our shoes off was sorta a pain with the Icelandic crazy weather and getting suitcases in. But not that big of a deal

Great spacious room with a very comfortable bed. We arrived at 2100 so actually met no staff during our stay as a key was left but the guesthouse is amazing. Shared bathroom was huge and clean

Very clean and comfortable! It's first time we had shared bathroom, but it was so clean and neat that we didn't even notice it is shared. Also, they had multiple separate showering rooms and toilets. Beds were quite comfortable. Good value for money.

Nothing but good things to say about this accomodation the man who I believe is the father that works there is extremely accommodating assisted me with my questions about my next days. Travel help me understand the weather app and was overall super accommodating. the rooms were nice and clean. The bathrooms the same. The breakfast that was offered was amazing value for the money very filling and tasty overall couldn’t say anything about this place if I tried.

Next to black sand beach, Vik it self is a great location, had good view from my window. Rooms are neat and well kept. you need to remove shoes at the door entry.

Our room was located on the second floor, there are 2 toilets but no showers; you need to go to the first floor for that. The twin bed was missing a bedside table. No internet. A bit annoying the removing of the shoes or more appropriate, the boots. They also have plastic bags for them if you don't want to remove them but, if you need to make 2 trips to the car and back while removing or putting plastic bags on the boots, well, it can become a little too much.

The Guesthouse is located at the entrance of the town. It is clean. I didn't have breakfast, so no idea how it is. The public areas and kitchen looked very neat. Our room had a view of the church.

The location of the guesthouse was excellent, you can get a panoramic view of Vik. Room and in general guesthouse was excellent. The restuarant/breakfast serving location was awesome with good views. Breakfast was quite decent. Overall very decent location for your stay in Vik.

We had the family suite, and had a private restroom, but otherwise we would have had to use a shared restroom.

Waiting for a bathroom was not a problem, but just make sure you account for short wait when planning for bed.

The room was great, very cozy and lots of options for hanging clothes. We enjoyed having a balcony as well.

The blinds in the room did not close properly. There could have been better products for showering as well as shampoo. Doors close with heavy noise and isolation of the house could be improved.

Perhaps we would have liked the hotel to be more specific about the facilities in the kitchen. There was no electr hobs to cook for example. It surprised us because we think that's the most basic equipment in a kitchen. Or at least, this should have been written somewhere. You must take this into account.

Guesthouse Carina was a delightful guesthouse with nice location in Vík. The accommodation was clean, well organised, cosy and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a breathtaking view on the mountains. There was also a free parking (that's still practical) and you can also find a lot of restaurants /pub not too far.

Close to main town, and black sand beach. Breakfast 16 euros, we didn’t not eat. No coffee available before 8:00pm. A little disappointing since I have 8 hours to drive, & not much is open around 7:30am. Room is very clean, close to WC, that helps. Overall, place is good & comfortable.

It would be helpful if the wifi password was in the email communication. I was very tired and it took me a while to figure out it was posted in my room. Definitely not a big deal, and the information was all there! My fault, but the rest of the communication was great.
