No TV in our room. Coffee or tea was free if you had it in restaurant area but charged to take a cup to your room.

View of the water and sheep outside our room was nice. The room was good size and included a desk. The on-site restaurant was convenient and the food excellent.

The view is amazing. warm and cosy rooms, clean inside. Very good breakfast with warm bread, various veggies, fruits, warm porridge , Free coffee and hot water all the time, even at night. We stayed in rooms next to the restaurant.

Our tv did not work in the room

We stayed in a bungalow for one night while visiting the area. Gerdi guest house is set upon a beautiful location with breathtaking mountain and ocean views. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was comfortable. There were no frills but it had what we needed for the night. Would stay here again if in the area.

Vehicle parking is somewhat unclear and resulted in cars parked directly outside our room window. Due to car doors opening/closing throughout the night we were unable to keep our window open for the cool night breeze.

Facility was clean and offered the basic accommodations. Restaurant was on site if desired. Location is good for exploring southeastern Iceland.

Walls were a little thin - was in room next to kitchen and could hear them prepping for breakfast in the morning (was awake, so not an issue for me).

Close to Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach - sunset at the lagoon and sunrise at Diamond Beach are awesome and would be highlights of your trip (clouds permitting). Lodging is very limited close to the lagoon and this was a good place and not too Iceland-expensive. Spacious room and bathroom was not tiny.

I prefer use my phone network. But there was no/poor phone signal in the room because of which I had to connect to hotel WiFi. Hotel Wifi was good though.

A decent, good sized room. It wasn't posh like the other hotels we stayed in Iceland during our road trip in the same category&price range, but was glad to have even found a room for family of 4 in this area. I seemed to have booked for 3 instead of 4 persons by mistake. But the room had 4 beds and when I informed the hotel the error, they made the 4th bed for us even at almost closing hours. Restaurant onsite with dinner and breakfast possibility was a big plus.

Breakfast was a little bit or miss. They seemed short staffed and we had to keep asking for dishes for the buffet. Food selection was great one day and lacking the next.

Room for 3 was very functional and clean! Great to have meals right there too. dinners were great!

Great to be so close to Jokullsarlon. We did a two day trip from Reykjavik & stayed here for one night. Location enabled us to view the icebergs 3 times: on way to the Guesthouse, after evening dinner and again the next morning. We also had a substantial dinner and breakfast at Gerdi guesthouse.

It was all perfect.

Amazing location! The ocean on one side and the magnificient mountain on the other. So calm, so many birds singing. The area is very low key, but it is a lovely camp with a few bungalows and a hotel part.
