Loved these cottages! Kitchen was great and had everything you needed. Very comfortable to spend a night in. The cottages looked brand new. Great views. There is no check-in, you just get sent a key box code. The location is outside of town, get all your supplies before arriving.

The cottage is lovely but small - that wasn't an issue for us, it was just the right size for two travelers, but larger groups might be a bit tight.

The view from the cottage was amazing. Everything was very clean and orderly when we arrived. The booklet for the cottage was very helpful. When I needed something, the owner was very quick to respond and very helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay here. A beautiful house, with incredibly beautiful surroundings. Everything was there that we needed. The beds were wonderful and the shower was perfect. For us, this was the best house we stayed in during our tour. Thanks for a great overnight stay

We greatly enjoyed this property; everything was very modern and brand new (or at least it seemed that way). Fantastic location. Our only regret is that we arrived a bit late to fully enjoy it and only stayed for one night. It truly deserved a longer stay. Our only suggestion is to add a hot tub (even if shared with the other two cottages); it would be the cherry on top. Nevertheless, it's already idyllic as it is.

Not much I didn’t like. Coffee maker instructions were valued. I would definitely stay again. Haven’t showered yet as I am enjoying the fjord view while drinking coffee.

We were able to find the place with google maps, after initially missing the Brekkukot sign. Instructions received about check in and facilities were clear and great. Nice little cottage with a view. We were able to watch the Aurora last night with mostly clear skies and really big windows facing most directions.

Only complaint, and it's not just here but Ive noticed the pillows at many of our accommodations are a bit flat to my liking and would wake up with neck cramps. Otherwise, no complaints!!!

The views right outside our front door were beautiful. We had the privilege to catch a sun set and just beautiful, peaceful, quiet views all around us. Sheeps and horses just feet away. The cottage was cozy, cute and had our basic necessities. If we were staying in that part of Iceland longer, it would have been an ideal location! Thankfully though, we were able to stay 2 nights on our journey around the country. The second day, I developed a pretty bad headache and was unable to find medication, it was so easy to communicate with host (who lives not too far away) and she provided me with some. Even had the chance to chat with her for a bit. Very sweet and kind! Fairly close to town and restaurants nearby. Hotel Blondous had delicious food! Went both nights of our stay.

Easy check-in with keybox. The cottages are clearly very new and clean. Pretty spacious as well. Very good coffee machine and clear explanation on how to use all appliances. Sometimes sheep would be grazing around the cottages :-)
