The property is perfect with exceptional view. We had a room with balcony. We could see the church of vik from our window. It was such a great stay. Great host and amazing services with perfect breakfast in the morning. The property also has a small crepes place in front of it. We spent a night here and we loved everything about this place. Would definitely recommend:)

One of the reasons we booked here was because they had laundry listed as a service- however, it's only available to those staying for two or more nights. We were able to find a spot, but wish this had been a little more clear as we had packed expecting to be able to do laundry here.

Breakfast was really good, bathrooms were very spacious and comfortable. We were in a twin room with a shared bathroom and were pleasantly surprised we had our own sink in our room, which helped speed up our morning a bit. Good board games and lovely coffee/tea bar in the common space!

I wish that there are more than 2 showers since there were multiple hotel guests who wanted to use shower around the same peak time. I had to wait for 20 minutes before my term.

We enjoy the host-provided Icelandic breakfast very much. The host family is friendly and meeting our needs. This hotel has view on all four sides. We stay in the corner room. And the corporate dinning room has three sided view. The location is close to many local attractions within walking distance.

Liked it all. Other visitors should be aware of a shared bathroom configuration. We shared 2 bathrooms with 4 other rooms; the bathrooms were very clean and had no issues.

We just left the property and were so pleased with our stay. The guesthouse was charming! Some of favorite things: - the host (Esteban) was very welcoming and gave us some great recommendations in the area. - the beds and room were extremely comfortable with lovely views from the room - breakfast was generous in quantity and quality - shared bathrooms were clean - great location for easy access to Vik and the surrounding area

Arsalir Guesthouse is very cute and cozy with GORGEOUS views from the windows of the town, church, and beach. The location is perfect and an easy walk (5-10 minutes) or drive (1-2 min) to the beach and multiple restaurants. The staff are wonderful. For example, Oscar stayed late to meet us when we arrived and provided us perfect recommendations for dinner and what to do in the area. He is extremely kind and friendly. Also, we were fortunate to meet the owners of Arsalir the next morning during the delicious breakfast and had a lovely conversation with them on the history of the house and the surrounding area. This is our kid's 49th country that they have visited and they said that their beds at Arsalir were the most comfortable they have ever stayed in. The sharing of bathrooms with the other guests was no problem. The bathrooms were always clean and accessible.

Everything was fine. No issues.

The rooms were very clean, with comfy beds and a in Room heater. We were greeted nicely and check in was smooth and efficient. The included breakfast was lovely, as was the coffee and tea. There was a kitchen available for our use, as well. There was a restaurant within walking distance and a little crepe stand in the parking lot with savory and sweet crepes. At night, it was quiet and we slept well.

Close proximity to the stores and beaches. The room was clean and cozy, with beautiful view of the mountain and church. They provide breakfast and they also have a food truck outside which place, their crepes are really tasty!!

I liked everything. If I were to be picky, I would like a clearer indication of where the breakfast room is; maybe a sign that points towards it on the ground floor? And, this would be a luxury, a charging point for electric cars would be beneficial.

Lovely and generous breakfast. Ample parking. The room itself was nice and, most importantly, warm. Copious amounts of hot water after a long cold day.

this B&B is situated nearly famous place and very close to a small supermarket. with a car you can go easily to visit some places. and the breakfast was super. we arrived very lately, and our room was ready and open.
