  “We had an incredible 2 nights stay at this charming family-run guesthouse. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. The dinner was delicious and the portion was huge! There were only about 8 to 10 units in the main guesthouse so it was exceptionally quiet and tranquil at all times. I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Apparently there are 2 ways to get to the hotel, both about 2-3km on gravel road but one road is more paved than the other. The one that is less paved is when we google map from direction of the town.”

  “A really nice little guesthouse. The room, furniture, and bed linens were in good and tidy condition. The shower had hot water, and the bathroom was adequate for a short stay. The breakfast had a nice variety of both savory and sweet options, and in the evening, residents had access to a kettle and microwave. Definitely a place worth staying if your travels take you to this part of Iceland.”

  “Very nice place, our room was really wonderful and very relaxing. It's a short walk to many of the places you must see in Stykkishólmur. They also provided us with a delicious breakfast for a fee we thought was worth the perk. Also, cheers to Monika (not sure it's spelled like this), who helped us during our checkin and was very kind to us.”
