Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

South AfricaThe one thing I did not like was the exchange rate that they had which was nuts! They offered me 30 rupees per 1 Euro. The next day at the forex place, and next hotel I got 89 rupees per 1 Euro.
The room was extremely clean and comfortable, with a fantastic view. The break was great with a wide selection. The location was great with lots of attractions and restaurants around. The most exceptional thing about this hotel, by far is the staff. Whoever is training them needs an increase in salary. They are amazing. Theyte helpful, warm and always smiling. Every staff member would greet you with a smile. Thank you.

Thailandbreakfast was sometimes messy from the people, the corridor to the room had a smell of paint at that time.
breakfast was amazing, lobby is spacious, staff was very helpful and courteous, the executive room (grey) was very comfortable as well as the amenities. The pick up service to and from the airport was very organized. The hotel connection to Oberoi hotel gives the experience of both hotels restaurants and services.

breakfast spread was excellent and the service was exceptional. Location can be said as BEST in Mumbai or India but the guests of Booking.com always gets city facing rooms. Room was renovated and well lit so enjoyed it. New Bar looks very nice but I need to try some of their drinks.

QatarThe glass door of the small bathtub is not very convenient. You may pls have a small plastic chair so that it can be put inside the small bathtub while taking bath. This is for avoiding any accident inside the small toilet. The glass curtain should be operable from inside the toilet and not from outside. Complimentary fruits were not sufficient - only 2 apples!!
We liked the decoration of the welcome room when we entered in room no 2016. Very thoughtful decoration on birthday indeed. We also liked the swimming pool staff particularly Remi who took care of us very well as we didn't know swimming but still wanted to float in water. Lat but not the least, we liked the breakfast and the serving staff as well. Over all, our experience was excellent.

TanzaniaOne point to mention, on the fourth day of my stay. The property decided to make REPAIRS, which was very irritating, and also triggered my wife's MIGRAINE ATTACK. The work started around 9.00am, I complained but no response and the work carried on. Finally I decided that I want to leave the hotel whether they REFUND OR NOT as I can't wait and see my wife suffer. They started to apologise and after a lengthy argument later on asked to be shifted to another floor. Which was by almost at the end the day had by 5.00pm. This was the worst experience. Because they hold the repairs for 3 to 4 days as the other guests on the same floor checked out. I was the only person left on this floor with my wife, that's when they started to work. I had a booking with them for two more days, before I checked out. MY ONLY REGRETS IS THE 5 STAR HOTEL HOW CAN THEY DO SUCH THINGS. IF THEY HAD REPAIRS SCHEDULED THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE BOOKED ME. OR They could have waited till my check out, just as they did for other clients. IT WAS ONLY WHEN I THREATENED TO CHECK OUT WHETHER THEY MAKE REFUND OR NOT THEN ONLY, THEY AGREED TO SHIFT ME TO OTHER FLOOR. I will never forget this experience, as I was enjoying and relaxed, but my last two days which I had to stay were very BAD and I was not able to do anything. AS THOSE TWO DAYS WERE MY LAST DAYS IN MUMBAI, I HAD MY BOOKING TO FLY BACK TO MY COUNTRY AFTER TWO DAYS. It was very unethical to give excuses for the whole day, making it a waste of a beautiful day. Furthermore, not even refunding the amount of money which I had to spend for not wanting to stay more without any choices. And also cover the expenses for the treatment for my wife's MIGRAINE ATTACK I'm very disappointed. Regards.
