Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IndiaNo hot water for drinking, had to keep asking. Geyser was not working and request was not attended. Bathroom could have been cleaner and tea/coffee service better. Fresh lime was at INR 150, that was ridiculous.

4 th floor where was my bedroom was dirty . Dusty on the steps with the cleaning trolley. It sounded like I get the worse floor. 90 % of the Personnel didn't speak english and so that they couldn't understand my request, included the 🚖 drivers 🤔 Although this hotel 🏩 IS 15 minutes from the Indira's Gandhi Airport. It sound as if there are 2 🏩🏨 in one with 2 receptions. I felt like if I was the only foreigner, and maybe why they put me in a filfhy floor. In the end, they gave me. Lots of presión cause I gave them 1000 roupies to stay longer to avoid hours at the Airport but all they wanted IS free Room to be able to "sale" It again.... Never more. Positive/ the breakfast included, just delicious 👌💯🌀 Only few good & anglophone Staff.

United StatesThe address on Booking.com was incorrect and the front desk did not answer the phone to get the correct address. The taxi driver had to drive around asking people where the hotel was. The furniture in the room was dirty, stained and had burns. There were spider nests growing in the wall corners.

NetherlandsGot an awful experience here. The actual room facilities are poorly maintained and not functioning well. We’ve stayed there for a night and barely slept. 1. The AC wasn't working, and it took a couple of hours to confirm the problem and get a new room. Even with a functioning AC, we still needed a fan running at a high level to keep the room cool. The worst part was being stuck in a room without proper airflow for several hours, especially in hot weather. 2. The bedsheets were worn out from countless washings and still dirty with stains, much like the towels. 3. The bathroom had a toilet and running water, but we had to shower the old-school way – using a bucket and a cup. Clean toilet paper were not available in the room. 4. The only lift in the building was broke down in the morning, forcing us to carry our luggage down the stairs. 5. The address on sites like Agoda or Booking are incomplete, making it difficult to find the hotel. Even though the staff were polite and cooperative, it took time and energy coming back and forth for potential problems. If you're looking for an adventurous experience before your flight, this place might be an option. If not, there are plenty of other hotel options in the area.
