Oh my god. To add something here feels like an insult. But if I had to pick something. HAD TOO I would say that the free slippers they provide in the room weren’t branded. That is the most ridiculous criticism I have ever provided but shows how absolutely amazing the hotel actually is.

There is nothing I can say here which will explain the joy that this hotel provided. I almost don’t want to tell you anything because I want you to experience it for yourself. If you can justify the cost, do it. You won’t be disappointed. Get them to pick you up from the airport. Eat in the hotel restaurant (especially the golden dragon) and just experience a true 5 star. I have never experience 5 star like this. Usually it’s about all inclusive 5 star. Whereas this is very much luxury 5 star and every single person you encounter at the hotel is dedicated to saying ‘YES’.

Credit card machine in multiple reception locations did not accept a high value transaction from an International credit card . Staff were unaware . Was inefficient and embarrassing. Bypassed with an electoonic link . Toileterries in the room are tiny bottles and sub par compared to other 5 star Spa experience is sub par, window dressing frontage, with actual delivery requiring a walk through the hotel to the back room at the gym. Weird

Parts are looking a bit dated and some of the rooms could do with freshening up.

Beautiful building both inside and out with lavish rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast selection is delicious and very generous. The highlight however is the staff. They are incredibly welcoming and hospitable. Special mention goes to Abhishek at the front desk who was amazing from start to finish. He went above and beyond and made us feel at home and at ease throughout. Also I’d like to thank Dhananjay for his hospitality and catering to special dietary needs.

The Taj Mahal Palace, in Mumbai has been our most favorite destination. This property is Historic, epitome of Hospitality. The Food is out of this world and just keeps getting better and better. We just love Taj Mahal Palace ❤️❤️❤️

During heritage tour, some of the hotel guests did not arrive on time. Some of them were talking very loud especially over the phone. Mobiles need to be avoided during heritage tour presentation. Mirrorless cameras were not allowed to take pictures inside the hotel. However they allow photos to be taken with cell phone. This did not make any sense.

Manoj with Sea lounge looked after us and served us Pav Bhaji and Misil Pav which are local breakfast items. Mukesh at Concierge was extreamly helpful and organised a tour guide for us. Prashant, Suraj and Utsav also looked after us at another breakfast place on ground floor ( Shamiana??) Adil and Percy gave us a wonderful heritage tour .Overall, we were very happy with the hospitality.

Staff could have been better. No butler service which was told would have. Check in took a long time as reception kept answering the phone whilst trying to check me in and I didn’t get wake up call asked for. Didn’t seem very organised on front of staff. Wait staff were good though in F&B. Arrival at reception very hectic outside hotel.

Very charming. Rooms old school luxury. Lovely poolside area.
