Everything was excellent as always in Hotel Taj Mansingh, Delhi. Happy hours In Club lounge we were attended by Mr. Satvinder and really had a nice experience again. Breakfast was a la Carte at Machan Restaurant, Butler Mr. Tapash took care of us and he managed to serve us a very good English Pork Sausage with fried eggs and a cheese platter . My wife also enjoyed some vegetarian delights suggested by Mr. Tapash.

The breakfast kind of disappointed us. It just didn't feel as if we're at Taj! The options were very limited and some of them didn't feel as if they were for breakfast- like chicken gravy and fried rice which I haven't really seen in a breakfast buffet, I might be wrong tho! We ordered aloo parantha which barely had aloo in it! The mango shake was all watery and didn't feel as if it had real mango in it. Mixed fruit juice tasted a bit tangy as if it was spoiled. Their avocado toast - I liked the sourdough but the avocado spread was a bit bland.

The room was spacious and vibrant. The view was beautiful with Greenery all around and pool in sight. Amenities were up to the mark. We were there to celebrate a special day and had put in a request for the same. The staff sent a cake to add value to our celebration which was very thoughtful of them! From the breakfast - I really liked their cheese omlette and the sides they served with it!

The hotel is fabulous, classic, rich, open, bright, super clean, sophisticated in its feel in all common areas and spacious rooms that reflect a perfect blend of heritage and modern luxury. Our one bedroom was simply amazing, with a lovely kitchenette, super comfy beds, lovely seating area soft fresh smells, super clean, and decor with hints of gold and sage that gave the unit a calming modern yet classic sophisticated aura. But the best thing about the Taj is it's staff, they are what differentiate this hotel from all other five stars, with their warm hospitality and forever willingness to go above and beyond. Starting from the lady and male security guards who welcome endless lines of guests from early morning to late evening with a cheerful namaste, to the elevator assistants (both, one with royal mush and one with the modern mush), Lakshay at check in, the beautiful young lady who greeted us every day by name for breakfast at Machan and seated us and the smart young man who served us and accommodated all our food eccentricities with a smile, the chef who checked in to see we were delighted by his delicious foods, Ms. Sazida in the lounge who spun out some of the most innovative and delicious cocktails and the young men who served us some enticing appetizers, the fabulous housekeeping crew who kept the room so sparkling clean, and many others. Thank you so much for all you do. To the management at Taj, these staff are your strength. I hope you have great retention plans in place, maybe a system where the taj matches all tips and gives each staff member (all levels) tip in form of some Taj shares each year (?) - not just collected cash that is valued but easily spent but something that gives them ownership in the brighter future they create for Taj every day - the culture you have is truly unique and your staff make the Taj experience what it is.

The upgraded suite was exceptional, with a guest room, enclosed balcony overlooking the city and swimming pool. Staff was courteous as are at all Taj properties. Breakfast was good, but the earlier buffets were better.

They booked a room for 3 persons while it turned out to be a two-single-bed room and wanted to charge us more for additional bed, but this was resolved very quick without additional charges.

The hospitality is unmatched! It is always the helpful attitude, pleasant demeanor and voice quality of the staff that makes a stay memorable. It is here that Taj scores the max!!
