The hotel is fabulous, classic, rich, open, bright, super clean, sophisticated in its feel in all common areas and spacious rooms that reflect a perfect blend of heritage and modern luxury. Our one bedroom was simply amazing, with a lovely kitchenette, super comfy beds, lovely seating area soft fresh smells, super clean, and decor with hints of gold and sage that gave the unit a calming modern yet classic sophisticated aura. But the best thing about the Taj is it's staff, they are what differentiate this hotel from all other five stars, with their warm hospitality and forever willingness to go above and beyond. Starting from the lady and male security guards who welcome endless lines of guests from early morning to late evening with a cheerful namaste, to the elevator assistants (both, one with royal mush and one with the modern mush), Lakshay at check in, the beautiful young lady who greeted us every day by name for breakfast at Machan and seated us and the smart young man who served us and accommodated all our food eccentricities with a smile, the chef who checked in to see we were delighted by his delicious foods, Ms. Sazida in the lounge who spun out some of the most innovative and delicious cocktails and the young men who served us some enticing appetizers, the fabulous housekeeping crew who kept the room so sparkling clean, and many others. Thank you so much for all you do. To the management at Taj, these staff are your strength. I hope you have great retention plans in place, maybe a system where the taj matches all tips and gives each staff member (all levels) tip in form of some Taj shares each year (?) - not just collected cash that is valued but easily spent but something that gives them ownership in the brighter future they create for Taj every day - the culture you have is truly unique and your staff make the Taj experience what it is.

The upgraded suite was exceptional, with a guest room, enclosed balcony overlooking the city and swimming pool. Staff was courteous as are at all Taj properties. Breakfast was good, but the earlier buffets were better.

Fantastic stay! Nipash at the front desk is a gem! Very warm and hospitable and extremely welcoming. Was kind enough to smoothly arrange an early check-in. Kudos!

They booked a room for 3 persons while it turned out to be a two-single-bed room and wanted to charge us more for additional bed, but this was resolved very quick without additional charges.

Room service was a little on the pricey side.

Great stay - it was a special occasion and the staff at the hotel fulfilled a special request. We also got an upgrade, which was really appreciated. The room was clean, spacious and stylish with a good view. The staff couldn't do enough. They helped us with various questions and requests and were friendly throughout. The food at Varq was fantastic. The lobby area was beautifully decorated.

Friends i tell you the service you get you cant complain.

As soon as you walk in and enter the lobby you know straightaway you are in one of the best hotels. The decor the scent in the air. The greetings you get from out the car from arriving all the way the welcome even after the checkin escorted to the room making sure you know where your going and offering welcome refreshing beverages as a nice gesture.. one of more then a 100 kind gestures actually.. thank you Mr Shahjahan for welcoming me. The many restaurants wow huge restaurants. Funny as when i invited family for dinner we couldnt choose. So one Dinner was at Ming food was so tasty even tho im veggy was lots to choose from the kimchi salad mouthwatering. Then Machan restaurant has so much choice from all types of cuisines,, lol in another i invited guests for dinner on my plate was pizza pasta dal makani fries (my description of the food doesnt do it justice just read the same dishes as written on the menu then your mouth will water) and nan i love it so much more i wanted to add. The gym everything u need with proper guidance. The poool massive. Rooms wow u will c for yourself so much more i can write but whoever visits will know much more. Trust me.
