Breakfast needs improvement. Some of the staff in the restaurant could not communicate well in English. At check-in they told us that both rooms have been upgraded to suites, on being shown the upgraded rooms we found them to be tacky and in need of a facelift. The regular deluxe rooms were far better and we asked to be moved back to our original booking.

The location is amazing, right on the sea front. Some of the staff were very pleasant.

The rooms were ordinary for the price. I have stayed in better rooms for lesser price. It had a mushy smell and the bathroom was very cramped.

The reception is a mess and had to wait for quite some time to get my room keys. It was very noisy and didn't find the room sound proof enough at night. Was woke up constantly by cars honking downstairs.

Stayed for a night with ex-fellow hostelers for the Pondicherry Engineering College silver jubilee reunion . It is in the best (white) part of Pondicherry Town and run by Hidedesign group. Dont remember this hotel existing during our college days We had a room window facing the promenade and beach and that was the highlight. The hotel is about location, location and location nothin more! Breakfast spread was good but nothing to rave about.

The rooms need a little upgrade.. the AC vents should be cleaned. It’s common on beachside properties but the hotel should take care to avoid Mold buildup as it’s not good for health in the long run. Mold could be seen on the property premise, like under paintings hanged on the corridors.

The location is good and also the hotel has a nice rooftop restaurant. The breakfast served is good. Hotel staff are nice, and the hotel location is right at the beach. The bathrooms have all the necessary toiletries. The hotel also has a swimming pool.

The room tariff is little higher as compared to the overall facilities provided. We stayed in better hotels with cheaper room tariffs.

Location of the hotel is excellent, just on the sea shore. Breakfast was excellent, staff was courteous. Overall, good experience.

There was no beer available in the hotel bar which is quite surprising in a place like Puducherry where they have a liquor shop in every street

I had stayed earlier in Promenade about 7 years back and it was one of the best experience. However this time the experience was moderate. The quality of the services has gone down. The room, that we stayed and especially the washroom was not well kept.

The location is unbeatable and the breakfast buffet, their in house restaurants are still very good.

Breakfast is not worth the price they charge. The bathroom fixtures and shelves need to be upgraded - they are not maintained well. To their credit, the manager heard me out on this. Lastly, the surroundings of the hotel can get very noisy even late night since the area sees a lot of footfall.

Location is great as is the staff. The room, are spacious and we got upgraded to beach facing rooms. The hotel is right on the rocky Promenade beach and a short walk from some really great restaurants around

It is extremely overpriced and not worth what they are charging. While this stay was good , I am unlikely too book this again at this high price.
