Breakfast is not worth the price they charge. The bathroom fixtures and shelves need to be upgraded - they are not maintained well. To their credit, the manager heard me out on this. Lastly, the surroundings of the hotel can get very noisy even late night since the area sees a lot of footfall.

Location is great as is the staff. The room, are spacious and we got upgraded to beach facing rooms. The hotel is right on the rocky Promenade beach and a short walk from some really great restaurants around

The breakfast spread was meager. The area is extremely noisy (although this is not the hotel's fault). I guess it comes with the territory as there are a lot of tourists visiting the beach on the promenade from early morning till late at night

The location was perfect. Right on the edge of promenade and close to the best shops and restaurants in the heart of the French quarter. The room was neat and clean. The staff were courteous and very helpful. A special shout out to the duty manager, Mr Siddhart, who went out of his way to make our stay and our anniversary memorable

The front desk staff took the payment via UPI on check in itself but they hadn't received the payment in account. They did not tell us about this for our 2days stay and while checking out created a chaos for us as our taxi to Chennai waited for almost 1. 5hrs thus delaying all of our schedule. Thankfully our flight from chennai was next day else we would have surely missed. The reception staff should be a bit more smarter to handle such issues.

Overall upkeep is massively lacking considering we paid almost 12k/night. Expected a more comfortable stay at that price. Sheets were dirty. The room floor wasn't super clean, feet kept getting dirty. The room window has no curtain and the shutters don't properly close so a lot of light seeps through in the morning. Bathroom was okay. Also slippers, iron, bathroom mat, toiletries kit was not provided. You have to keep asking for every basic item. The hotel didn't meet the expectations.

Restaurant service was inconsistent. Adjacent to the hotel, in the street, was very extremely dirty & unpleasant - piles of rubbish & open drains.

The thing that I did not like was that though I had opted for a non-sea facing room, the room that I had checked into did not have much of a balcony or outside view, which made the stay in the room, confined to walls and a door.

The rooms are spacious offering a comfortable stay. The staff especially at the front desk and at the entrance were very courteous and helpful. Any requests made at my end were addressed to. The location is no doubted a winner, but the overall stay experience was good.
